despite the fact that yoona had come back in time to get a decent rest after the -both mentally and physically- exhausting days prior, the late night encounter left her awake all not, his gaze never leaving her mind once.
taking in the new aroma,that she still was not accustomed to, of her hometown, she was beyond desperate to find the considerate,abnormally good looking boy again.
she stepped out her small,homey looking cottage,with nothing but a mission to get the vegetables needed for her mum's favourite comfort dish.
as the thought of the food left her mouth watering, she wandered this old but new town. thank the lord,however, it was small enough that she could take as many laps as she wanted without getting too tired.

she took her first steps into the tiny shack one would call the vegetable market. all the vegetables lay across, practically begging to be picked.
"excuse me miss, you dropped this" another stranger spoke up, her shopping list caught between the young woman's index and middle finger.
she couldn't help but mentally facepalm. what was with her unintentionally dropping stuff and the kindness of the village people that surrounded her? and she couldn't also help the fact that some part of her hoped it was that cute boy for last night again.
realising the woman's presence again, the jin girl replied back.
"oh my god im so sorry! i dont know why i keep dropping stuff" she winced as she bowed to the woman in gratitude.
"it's fine" the stranger spoke waving her hands rapidly,"also, are you from here? I haven't seen you around before and i've lived here my whole life."
yoona was quick to refuse, a grin appearing on her face. "no no, im visiting here from korea" she managed to say, a nervous giggle shortly following after.
"im actually here to visit my grandpa!" she added, diverting her gaze back onto her shopping cart,filled with the vegetables she needed.
"no way..are you shuji's grandaughter by chance..?" the girl spoke again,her mouth ever so slightly agape as her eyes widened a bit.
"yes..?" yoona turned back to the girl,an oblivious look taking after her smile.
"gosh,im so sorry. it must have been heartbreaking hearing the news. i'm hiyoko. i hope we can be good friends in the future" the stranger,hiyoko,says as she extends out a hand.
"it's fine. his accident was a shock to all of us. thankfully, he's put under safe care now. im jin yoona, i would love to be friends" she held a firm handshake, both crumbling into pits of nervous giggles as they exchanged looks with one another.
yoona now had made a friend in the first day. how could one possess this much good and bad luck?
