Dom.
I cant help but walk straight to her, but Leo beats me to it.
“Wow woman after my own heart. Get me drunk enough tonight and I can do things to you that you wouldn’t even imagine.”
I'm about to speak up when Arabella opens her mouth, “Sorry but my job isn’t worth hooking up with you.”
I chuckle and they both look at me, “Leo that’s your ego deflated.”
She cant help the giggle that leaves her mouth as Leo snatches his drink and slums away.
Music to my ears.
“But your job is worth me?” I can’t help the question escaping when I lift my drink from the tray.
“Maybe,” she whispers but I can hear the apprehension in her voice.
“I promise I won't tell anyone.”
“Thank you.” She pours the tequila and hands one out to each of us.
I could instantly see the relief on her face, I knew me saying that meant a lot to her. I suppose she worked hard to get where she is. She doesn’t need some rich guy to come in and throw it all down the drain for her.
Maybe if I speak to Captain, I could get something worked out but then that means her crew mates will find out.
Ill just play everything by ear. After all it’s just a bit of fun for the next several weeks and then I will never see her again. Something about that thought just doesn’t sit right with myself.
“Arabella,” one of my other friends’ shouts. “Any chance we can get some women brought out to the boat? Don’t want this dance floor going to waste now do we?”
Of course, classic Brent. Always looking one way or another to get his dick wet.
“We could if you really do want to. There’s no problem in me ringing the water taxi.” Arabella pulls out her radio.
My hand on hers stops her, “Don’t be silly. It’s our first night here. Lets just relax and sure boys you can do it another night.”
Surprisingly no one protests. They know I'm the one who would be paying for it. We drink and have a laugh without women for the rest of the night.
