We only see eachother at weddings and funerals

Y/Ns POV:

I walked around the academy, I knew my siblings would be here for the funeral. ever since they all left, the house was way more quieter and empty, luther stayed around, but then he left four years ago after the...incident.

I heard the sound of the doors opening, "hey,mom" I heard a voice from downstairs. it's Vanya, I began walking to the steps.

"Vanya?" Allison said. I stopped and stared at them both, they hadn't noticed me. Vanya's attention turned to Allison.

"you're actually here" allison spoke as she stepped down the last few steps. I didn't even know Allison was here.

she chuckled softly and walked over "hey, Allison" Vanya greeted softly.

"hey, sis" she responded and stopped once they were in-front of each other. after a moment of staring at eachother, Allison chuckled and pulled her in for a hug.

"Ah. what is she doing here?" diego appeared causing both of their gazes to fall on him. damn, is everybody here and I didn't even realise?

"you don't belong here, not after what you did." he continued, walking past. he didn't even look excited to see them.

"you're seriously gonna do this today?" Allison asked and put her hands on her pockets.

Diego didn't answer, he just continued walking up the stairs without even looking back. "way to dress for the occasion, by the way." Allison called out after him.

"At least I'm wearing black." Diego responded, he stopped walking once he saw me. we stood in-front of eachother "y/n..." he said, obviously shocked to see me and mostly my appearance.

"Diego" I smiled.

"y-you still look thirteen..." he pointed out. I let out a soft chuckle. "yeah, it's been so long since I used my aging powers that I actually forgot how to uhh...change back" I said the last part awkwardly.

he laughed "hopefully you'll remember soon enough." he patted my on the shoulder. I gave him a knowing look and he huffed playfully

"alright" he pulled me in for a tight hug "I missed you" he admitted. "I missed you too" I leaned into him.

we then broke apart, "I'm gonna look around" he said, I nodded, "same" we walked off in opposite directions.

I walked down the hall and spotted my sister "hey, allison" I greeted, she turned to me and smiled "hey!" she hugged me.

"I'm probably gonna be receiving lots of those" I laughed, she laughed along and looked at me with shock. "I know" I spoke before she could even ask.

we walked to dads office and opened the door, we stared inside, debating whether or not we should go in, we looked at each other and nodded before stepping inside and taking a look around.

we all stood together, all seven of us, we were about twelve, I was standing next to five, slightly leaning on him.

mom knocked on the door to dads office. "the children are ready for bed, sir. they wanted to say goodnight" she smiled.

she then walked over to the door and opened it, revealing us all in our pyjamas. we stared at dad, waiting for him to say something, anything. but he didn't even look at his, he just wrote in his journal.

after a few more seconds, he still didn't even look up. the robot (mom) looked back at all of us, still smiling "okay! time for bed now kids, come along now."
