THE BURNING OF THE BOOKS STILL
bloomed in her mind. she looks up as the clouds ever so still clouding over the sun's rays.

tightening her hand against her bag, she turns her head as she walks with a fast pace. her hair swaying as she was quickly walking.

the sound of her footsteps was a deadly sound, the loudness of then was nothing compared to the silence of the street.

looking up every once and a while, she looked at the windows that were boarded up. some depicted anger, and other was just plan old wood.

the smell of burning was still thick, despite those smells having originated years ago. the occasional animal fights where cats with scars where their eyes used to be, and the sight of their ribs poking through was enough evidence that they were long starved and abandoned by society.

there was only her roaming the streets, the reason only she knew and the natives of this land. the empty and cold streets were filled with sorrow, the whispers of ghosts were all around.

the sound was deafening to her. her ears twitch as did her nose. tightening her twisting hold on the bag's strap.

but she stops as she looks up at a abandoned building. her face was devoid of emotion. she looked at the broken glass, the stains from bear being thrown towards the red bricked building. she looked at it for a moment longer before turning and walking straight away from the building.

         THE STRAWHATS HAD JUST LEFT
thriller bark with their new companion; brook. their next determined place was the new world, though with their captain, it was undetermined when they would even get there.

but as of now, the swordsman on their crew; zoro was being reprimanded by their doctor; chopper.

"your still injured! you'll rip your stitches if you keep working out!" the reindeer shouts in irritation, zoro kisses his teeth.

"im fine. i have to work out! stop worrying." he waves chopper off as he was lifting some weights chopper was struggling with wrapping bandages around zoro's arm.

the reindeer was complaining during which the navigator; nami, frowns as she looks up at the clouds that began to get more and more, larger and thicker as the sunny slowly sails.

looking down at her log pose, she sees it heading towards a norther direction.

"anything the matter, miss navigator?" robin; the archeologist asks as she walks over to the other woman, closing a non-fiction book.

"its just the clouds, they aren't any rain or storm clouds. their simply thick, and larging as we head towards the northern coast." nami says, brows furrowed.

robin hums as she looks up, and nami was indeed right. they were thickening as they were heading north due to the currents just taking them wherever. of course their captain wouldn't care. as long as it was fun for him and the others.

"it seems so. let's wait it out, im sure if anything gets too much, we can handle it." robin smiles, and nami lets a breath of relief as she nods.

"right. as long as luffy doesn't get us in trouble." nami heaves a sigh as she looks over at luffy who sat on the sunny's figure head as he laughs like a kid, hoping for some adventure.

luffy looks forward before he purses his lips as he hops off the figurehead as he goes over to the direction of the kitchen, swinging the door open he sees Sanji preparing lunch.

he gets down behind a counter before sanji can notice that he got into the kitchen. sanji narrows his one visible eye.

"hm..." he mumbles before turning around as he chops some lettuce. then he crouches as he takes out a two batchs of sugar cookies with a oven mitt, humming to himself, imagining scenarios with nami and robin.

he places the pans on the counter behind him before turning to put the lettuce in the pan as he then sautés it with the onions and peppers.

luffy snakes a hand to the cookies, grabbing one entire pan of them. sanji turns as he went to put the cooled cookies he had originally out, only too see one pan.

his swirly brow furrowed, "what the-..." his eyes sharpen as he looks around. He even leaned forward to see if anyone was bellow, but he didn't see anyone.

"guess i've been cutting onions too much lately..." he mumbles with his cigarette before turning to add in the sausages he bought.

putting some minced garlic into the pan, he moves it with a spatula. sometimes flipping it as the sausages were being cooked.

as he turned and then placed a bowl of strawberries that were cut in halves. when he turned around again, luffy sneaks his hand to grab the bowl, which before sanji could turn around again, luffy finished it and put the bowl on the counter.

sanji doesn't seem to notice since he went over to grab some plates, where he placed the mixture of sausage and other vegetables on a plate, taking some chipotle made sauce over it. then he used a tissue to clean up it as he added some brown rice.

he notices the extra food, "i'll decide later..." he mumbles to himself as he places the pan as he turned around to fix the plates more as he added more things to make a better lunch.

during that, luffy took all the meat on the pan, eating it up. when sanji turned around and he saw no pan, but heard the sound of someone swallowing their meal, he sharpens his visible eye as irritation rises.

"luffy... GET YOUR ASS OUT!"

luffy is then tossed out the kitchen. not because he wanted some food, but because he was stealing it behind his back.

luffy pouts. "did you steal from the kitchen?" he looks up at franky, who held a hammer- probably fixing the sunny. the cybrog had a brow raised.

"i'm gonna ask sanji for more food." luffy said as he got up, franky looked as he just shrugs. "you got it."
