Shy POV
It was Friday night and Tiana was over helping me pick something out for this date tonight. My week has been bless so far, I finished the rough draft and Hill was impressed with it. I had drakes photo shoot that went excellent, so I'm hoping today will be the icing on the cake.
"Ou you should wear this!" Tiana said, she was holding a black tight leather dress, I shock my head no.
"Girl no! That is so trashy why do I even still have it in my closet?" I said, I snatched the dress out her hand and put it in on of my boxes so I could donate it to a family in need. Tiana continued to go through my closet trying to look for something for me to wear. I was nervous about tonight I haven't gone on a date in a year so I didn't know what to expect .
"Where are you guys going anyway" Tiana shouted from the closet, "I think it's dinner and a movie not to sure" I replied painting my finger nails. Tiana came out with a white romper I had almost forgotten that I bought it last week." How about this number?" She asked.
"I like it! Now I need to find my black thong to wear with it" I said getting off my bed and searching through my draws. Tiana took the romper and laid it on my bed. "Or maybe you just don't wear no panties at all" Tiana said, causing us both to start laughing Tiana was such a freaky girl.
"Found it!" I grabbed my romper and thong and made my way to the bathroom to take a shower." What time is he suppose to pick you up?" Tiana yelled from my bedroom, "um I think 9pm" I replied. After I was done showering I Vaselined my skin and I applied a little bit of make up, I was looking good if I might add. Walking out of the bathroom I grabbed my clutch and threw my shit in it and went downstairs with Tiana on my tail.
"Girl you are looking good!" She said
"Thanks girl you know how I do, but should I wear my white sandals or my white Louie heels or boots?" I asked, she thought about it for a minute before she said," Heels because the boots would make you look like a hooker" she said. I slid on my heels and looked at myself in the mirror I was looking really good my hair was slicked in a tight ponytail, It showed off my bone structure. Looking down my phone I notice a text message from Wayne saying he was outside my house, I gave Tiana a hug and told her to lock up before she left.
I walked up to what I assumed to be Wayne's car it was a black on black Range Rover. I got in and off we went, there wasn't much talking in the car only the occasional are we there yet. 30 minutes later we pulled up to a little Jamaican restaurant in downtown Miami. Wayne came over to open my door and took my hand as we walked into the restaurant. It was very nice inside and it was decorated in the traditional Jamaican colour, gold green and black. We were seated near the back in a booth, the place was packed but it was Friday so I expected that.
"You look beautiful tonight Ms Shyanna" Wayne said, causing me to stop looking at the menu and blush
"Thank you Wayne, you don't look to shabby yourself. You clean up very nice". I replied causing him to show his dimples
"You know how I do, but tell me about yourself any kids? Job? Age?" He asked sipping on his water
"Well I'm 26 years old um I don't have any children and I work for a magazine company" I replied, I didn't feel the need to tell Wayne where I worked because in the past when people found out what I do they think I can help them make it big I'll pass this time.
"Well I'm 29 years old I have one son and I work for Def Jam Records" he replied, I was shocked he worked for such a big company.
"Wow now that is a job, much be fun working with big name celebrity" I said sipping on my water
"It's ok nothing big" he replied laughing.
After we talked for a while we order some food to eat and listened to the music form the live band . I swayed my hips in my seat, I loved island music it always put me in a great mood. We talked for almost a hour about everything.
"So wait Rihanna tried to hit on you? Why you lying for" I asked while laughing
"I'm not laying Rihanna could of been my baby mama but i said no" he replied, while laughing. We we're leaving the restaurant and walking down downtown Miami, the skyline was beautiful I loved living here, we kept walking until we got to a beach and just sat on the shore line.
"It's so beautiful out here" I said looking up into the sky
"I know, this is where I come to clear my mind. It's a very peaceful place." Wayne said to me while looking at me, I turned to look at him but he looked away.
"So what happened with you and your kids mom?" I asked, he shifted in the sand and looked away.
"I rather not talk about it at the moment, I rather here about you" Wayne said, I decided not to force him to talk about something he didn't want to, in due time he would let me know what happened.
"Well I told you everything about me" I replied, looking at him
"I want to get to know you on a deeper level, I connect with you and it feels like I've known you my whole life" he said
"Funny I have that same feeling, but not gonna lie when I first meet you I thought you were a complete asshole or some player" I told him, he started to smirk and I shoved him.
"Hey I'm none of that I'm a gentleman" he said, shoving me back
"Your lucky my friend made me come over to your ass at footlocker because I was ready to call 9-1-1 on your stalker ass" I replied laughing to him
"If you did, you wouldn't of been able to experience this" he said, he leaned in and kissed me and I kissed back. Our mouths were fighting for control so I let Wayne guide the kiss and it was heaven.
"Wow" I said, he smirked
"We should get going it's getting late" he replied, I nodded and got up and followed him to the car. Once we arrived back at myself he walked me to my door.
"Thank you for a wonderful night Wayne" I said, I pecked him on the lips
"Thank you for allowing me to take you out" he replied, we said are goodbyes and I went inside. I kicked off my shoes and grabbed my phone and dialed Tiana number it went straight to voicemail, I left her a message letting her know the date went great and went to bed. I was going to bed happy, what a great way to end my week.
Just felt like updating...I have mostly all the chapters of my books done just waiting for more views to come but someone messaged me and asked for me to post it so here it is !! :) Shy in the photo above !! anywho
