Scene: Abandoned Warehouse, Night
The dim glow of a nearby streetlamp casts long shadows through the broken windows, illuminating dust particles floating in the air. Y/N stands in the center of the room, his eyes scanning the darkness, a worried expression etched on his face. Jade leans against a crumbling wall, her arms folded, a look of determination fixed on her features. Logan paces back and forth, glancing nervously at the doorway.
Y/N: (whispering) This place gives me the creeps. Should we be here?
Jade: (softly) We don't have a choice. We need answers.
Logan: (nervously) I still think this is a bad idea. What if we get caught?
Jade: (confidently) We won't. We've got each other's backs.
Y/N: (looking at Jade) Your confidence is terrifying, but I like it.
Jade: (smiling) Thanks, Y/N. When you're desperate, you do what you gotta do.
Footsteps echo through the hallway. Everyone goes quiet, listening intently. A figure steps into the light—a shady informant known only as The Rat.
The Rat: (voice raspy) So, you three looking for trouble?
Y/N: (clearing throat) We're looking for information. About Rachel Amber.
The Rat: (chuckles) Rachel, huh? You kids are playing with fire.
Logan: (voice trembling) We just need to know what happened to her.
The Rat: (leaning in) That's gonna cost you.
Jade: (firmly) We can pay.
The Rat: (nodding) Alright. But first, a favor. There's a package in the basement. It's yours if you retrieve it.
Y/N: (raising an eyebrow) The basement? Are you kidding?
The Rat: (smirking) No joke. It's dangerous down there. But if you want answers, that's the price.
Jade: (nodding) We'll do it.
Scene: Warehouse Basement, Night
The basement is pitch black, the only light coming from the flashlights their phones provide. Y/N leads the way, his flashlight beam bouncing off piles of debris and decaying furniture. Jade follows closely, her eyes darting around nervously. Logan brings up the rear, constantly looking over his shoulder.
Y/N: (whispering) This place is a dump. What the hell could be down here?
Jade: (softly) Maybe something important. Something Rachel was hiding.
Logan: (nervously) Maybe we should just go. This feels wrong.
The beam of Y/N's flashlight catches on something shiny. He moves closer, revealing a small chest covered in dust.
Y/N: (excitedly) I think this is it.
Jade: (voice trembling) Open it.
Y/N opens the chest, revealing a stack of papers and a USB drive. He hands the USB drive to Jade.
Jade: (whispering) This could be the missing piece we need.
Logan: (nervously) Let's get out of here.
Suddenly, a noise echoes through the basement. Footsteps. Heavy and quick.
All three freeze, listening.
Y/N: (whispering urgently) Someone's coming. We need to go.
They rush back the way they came, Y/N leading the way, Jade and Logan following closely. They burst out of the basement, the sound of footsteps growing louder behind them.
