Be outgoing, try things you've never tried before. For example, three years ago I tried out for the Volleyball team. Became one of the most "popular girls" at this school.
My boyfriend Jason, captain of the soccer team once told me "Life is a gift, make it extraordinary." And that is what I do.
"Hey babe, I can't have lunch like I promised. We have a soccer meeting."
"That's alright. I wanted to shower. Practice was crazy this morning and I feel sticky." I gave big fake smile.

I put my books in my locker and walk to the bulletin board. Coach posted a list. I push passed everyone and finally made it.

"Yes. Yes. Yes!" I jump up and down. I run over to my best friend Catarina. She's honestly one of the most beautiful humans alive.
"Cat. Cat. Catttt!"
"What. What. Whattt!"
"I'm captain. I'm captain!" A big smile forms in her face and she starts jumping with me.
"See I told you! Congrats." She hugs me. Cat is my number one supporter always there for me no matter what.
"Three years in a row baby."
"I don't know why we get so excited if you're always getting chosen." She laughs.
"I know. I think we use it as an excuse to do what we do every time something good happens to one of us."
"Movie, dinner and a walk on the beach." We say in unison. We laugh and walk towards the showers.
"How was track? Did you see lover boy?"
"Amazing! We had a great conversation today. He's so beautiful."
Cat has been crushing on this kid since middle school. Recently she found out that he liked her as well. Ever since they've been hanging and talking.
"How are things with you and Jason?" She makes a disgusted face when she says his name. She hates him. She says I can do way better and it's true I know I can.
"Horrible. I think I'm gonna end it. I heard he's been hooking up with water girl." I laugh.
"Who's water girl?"
"Amanda Clark. Freshman."
"Ew little girl with a flat chest and fucked up teeth?"
"Yup."
"What the fuck."
"I know." I turn on the shower letting it heat up. I take off my clothes and step in. I have 50 minutes.
"You have free period today?"
"Yeah forth block. After vocal. You?"
"Yup forth block, after art. Wanna hang with me and Daniel?"
"No I'm fine. I'm gonna talk to Jason."
"Okay then." She steps into the shower.
I wet my hair and let out a sigh.
