"Hey! Sir! Get the hell back here!" Moses squealed.
He ran outside the bathrooms, trying to follow after that dick head. He looked like such a fool, but it was worth it for that hunk of man. Moses growled to himself as he got shoved about by the country folks. He was desperate to talk to Austin again. The designer cowboy took a breather as he was shoved against the side of a food truck.
Shit! There he is!
Austin was stood by a slushie truck, sipping something raspberry flavored. God the way he stood just commanded respect.
Moses was so close to approaching him but then he saw a figure behind Austin. A little girl was holding onto his pants, her golden hair a match to Austin's. She even had the same eye colour! That was definitely, positively Austin's daughter.
Wait...this meant he was married...
But then why was he flirting just before???
Moses' mind was a mess right now.
He might still have a chance though.
He slowly approached Austin and the girl, trying to be as casual about it as possible. But his jittery steps made it blazingly obvious that he was nervous as all hell. Moses huffed and smiled up at Austin. "Hi!"
Austin grunted and he looked down at Moses. "Uhm...hi? You my stalker or something? Why' you follow me?" He gave a look of disgust.
AHHHHHHHHHH "Uhm...No...No...No I'm not a stalker! I just...Uhm...You dropped this!" He says, pulling a dollar bill from his back pocket and holding it towards the other man.
Austin snatched the dollar bill. He gave Moses another firm look, before promptly bursting out into a fit of laughter. "Oh my lord! You should see the look on your face! Oh my goodness! You...God, yer a funny guy, Moses."
Holy shit he remembers my name!!!
"Uhh...Uh yeah...very funny. I love that. I love you—I uh. Shit...Sorry, I stammer sometimes." Moses says. He took a step back and glanced down at the shy little girl who was clinging to Austin's jeans like it was her saving grace. "Uhm. You know what? I work in a clothing store, and you look like you could use some new clothes..."
Where the hell are you going with this, Moses???
"You should totally call this number for some discounts..." He says, taking out a piece of paper with his number written down from his pocket and sliding it into Austin's breast pocket. It was something he'd always had on handy, he'd just never used it until now.
Austin simply sighed and took the note from his pocket and opened it. "God...I could get used to your humour. You know what? I will call this number for some clothes. But not right now. I'm kinda having fun at the moment."
Aaannndddd mission failed.
Moses nodded and he backed away even more. "I'll Uhm...go away now..." he says. "Uhh! Don't forget to call that number! Yeah! Discounts!" He says.
Moses stared for a second before he turned on his heel and high tailed it. He couldn't believe he'd just done that! How could he??? In front of that guy's daughter no less! He tugged his hat off and squeezed it tight as he looked around for his friends. Where the fuck were those bitches?
After some stressing, he found his little group of four.
They were all sitting around a wooden table, drunk out of their minds. Great. Moses would be on driving duty again. AGAIN.
At least he had something to look forward to tonight if that Austin guy remembers to call his number. After some half assed arguments, he managed to squeeze his friends into the little SUV they'd showed up in. The grey thing was in no condition to be out in the country side, but it was the only vehicle that Moses felt safe driving.
He got behind the wheel and just let out a long breath.
It wasn't even 9 o'clock and he was already exhausted!
Maybe it was his nerves. Yeah, probably that. He'd worked up a whole lot to go and talk to his sudden crush, so it was definitely taking a toll on poor Moses' mind. He scratched at something on his arm before pulling out of the grassy car park and finding his way back onto the highway.
His friends then decided it would be a great time for some karaoke.
Well...He signed up for this.
Moses just stared straight ahead of himself, praying he didn't hit any animals or anything. He was also thinking about Austin. Gosh his jeans were tight. Especially around the crotch. Actually, Moses realised he was making that part up. No, Austin's jeans were normal. It was his mind that was making them sexual.
His whole brain was buzzing about Austin.
He wanted a piece of him so badly, but knew he should probably take it slow since that beefy bloke had a whole ass child and had probably just come from a nasty divorce. But then again he was making things up. What if everything was fine and Austin had a good relationship with his ex wife? But then again, what if he was still married and Moses got caught in an affair? God, he would not want that at all!
Moses sighed again and just tried to think positively.
There was always the possibility this would go great and they'd turn out to be the best couple of the century. They could be famous or something. You know...amazing horse riders together, stars at bull riding. That kind of fun stuff.
This was going to be fine.
Right?
