- After finishing the mission, the assassins walked outside and were met with the cold, evening breeze. The tension was gone, a stark contrast to the anxious chatter and wary glances they'd left behind. -
Wen headed towards the car, far away from the crime scene. She got in the driver's seat again, keeping her foot on the brake. That way, she could quickly rev up the engine when Sar returns.
Sar walked in a different direction than Wen, heading for a spot that'd be perfect for discarding her weapon. A pond would be ideal, and, to her chance, there was a small pond in a forest near the tavern.
She walked inside the forest, quietly, to dispose of the knife there. The current was still, the pond was deep and Sar threw the knife in the murky water. She waited for a moment to make sure that the blood mixed well with the water and didn't leave any stains. Then, she calmly walked out of the forest and towards their car.

Wen was sitting in the car, looking in the rear view mirror and saw Sar arriving. Thus, she started the engine. Sar the car door and got in. "Just got rid of the knife." She said as she said down, putting on her seatbelt.
"Oh, good. Did anyone see?" Wen asked while she started driving. "No, I threw it into a pond." Sar answered, "Also, no one will notice since there were many rocks around."
Wen nodded and sped up a bit. "Great, we totally slayed him." she said proudly. Sar laughed and responded: "Literally."
They continue to drive back to their apartment in Kenner, chatting along the way.
-
In the bar, Stefan Charles Smith's death wasn't immediately noticed and the cameras didn't capture anything either. He lay there motionless for a few minutes, slumped up against the wall like he had snoozed off.
Yet, the bartender noticed the blood dripping from his forehead and walked over.
Indeed, Stefan had died.Straightaway the bartender urged someone to call the police, but when they arrived, nothing could be traced back to the murderer(s).

[18:00]
-Back in their apartment, Sar and Wen kicked back on the couch. "Well, that was something." Sar said and thought for a moment, thinking about what had happened.
Right at that moment, a thought came to Wen which she said aloud: "I wonder when I'll get my money. Wasn't it 7.000$?"
Sar looked at Wen, narrowing her eyes. "Your money? Aren't you just a capitalist." Wen scoffed as a result, she responded sarcastically: "Oh, I excuse myself thoroughly. I meant our money"
Her comrade, Sar, still had suspicion, but bantered: "Exactly, for we must share. Even our toothbrushes."
Wen was caught off guard and raised an eyebrow. "Toothbrushes? Be fucking for real."Sar was mildly annoyed at the sudden change of tone and answered: "That was a joke, you toaster." Wen didnt know what to think of that, being called a toaster. She replied: "Toaster? Girl, if I'm the toaster, you're the fridge."
"Oh, sure." Sar mocked, "Says the refrigerator herself." And they were back to arguing again.
"Shut up, you're built like a fridge"
"Nuh uh, you are the fridge."
"Oh, really? You're a Samsung sleek stainless steel French door refrigerator with large 28 cubic feet capacity."
"Did you just name the model of our fridge?" Sar asked, but she knew the answer.
"Yuh uh, I did." Wen responded with a blunt tone.
"Damn, that's insane." Sar spoke, "You memorize our fridge's name but don't know what jokes are?"Wen was a bit offended because she knew it was a joke. "Of course I know what jokes are, idiot." Sar didn't really believe that and said: "Oh yeah, totally believable."
——
As the evening dragged on and both of them were already lying in bed, Sar received yet another call. Perhaps it was their manager calling again about the payment.
——
"Is this Sar I'm speaking with?" They inquired, Sar responded: "Yes, hello. Is something the matter?"
"I'm calling about you and Wen's payment." The manager answered.
"Oh, I see. To our fake bank account as usual?"
"That's correct. You can expect the 7.000$ in around two days from now."
"Great. See you later."
"See you too and have a good evening." They said, and hung up.––—––
