/ Sar and Wen settled in their room and unpacked some of their bags. The hotel itself was quiet as there weren't many guests present. The sun outside was slowly beginning to set as the last bits of sunshine disappear from their room. The hotel room itself is quite little, there are two beds, a kitchen connected to a small living room and a door leading to a bathroom. \

Sar closed the curtains and saw a TV, a bit old but it would do; she turned it on and at first there was static but then the weather channel turned on, reporting that soon it would rain. Upon hearing this, Wen commented: "We should go out in the rain and dance or something."

"You can do that if you want, I'm staying here." Sar replied as she switched the channel, now the news were on. One news reporter was talking about a certain man named Stefan Charles Smith who had mysteriously died days earlier.

"Would you look at that, I wonder who that might've been.." said Sar and looked at Wen who was about to change the channel again. "Oh yeah, definitely not us. We would never commit murder or anything." Wen replied and shrugged.

Wen switched to the next channel and it was a documentary about horses. "Now that's something we can watch, eh?" Sar asked and sat on one of the beds. "Are you serious right now bro?" Wen snatched the remote and searched for the button to change the channel.

-
"The giant horse c-ck weighs 5 pounds. As we can see here.." the documentary explained in an oddly clinical tone. The screen zoomed in on a high-definition photo of the horses genitalia with numbers and arrows indicating each part of the anatomy, all the while the narrator went on and on, seemingly unaware of the topic, or maybe they were fascinated by it.
-

Just in time, Wen changed the channel before the next scene could reveal something even more ridiculous—perhaps a close-up of the bizarre content, or worse, something that would haunt their mind for days. Immediately, the channel switched to a safer documentary, one about cypress trees, which was definitely less invasive.

As this scenario was playing out, Sar was observing Wen and upon her changing the channel, she let out a sigh of relief, and Wen also did. "What in the means of production was that?" Sar said and Wen shrugged. "I don't know, but I wasn't expecting that." Wen spoke.

The two got ready for bed and laid down, turning off the TV and lights. Wen was now setting an alarm to hopefully awake early tomorrow. "Hmm.. What ringtone should I use?" Wen asked and turned on a random one from the list.

> Over the Horizon <
"Nah, another." Sar responded.
> Midnight Chime <
"Not that one." said Sar.
> Retro Glimmer <
"Oh hell no."

Wen was fed up. "Girl. Choose your own, then."
"Yeah, I will." Sar replied as she took Wen's phone and started searching for a ringtone, one that was loud enough to wake up even the most eternal hibernator.

> Air Horn Blow Sound Effect Bass Boosted Ear Rape <

Upon clicking it, the sound waves propagated; Wen covered her ears and even the hotel receptionist 5 rooms away did the same. "It's a bit loud but it'll wake us up." Sar spoke and gave Wen's phone back, then she laid down and closed her eyes.

Wen couldn't believe what her comrade was doing. She stared at her phone and at Sar, who seemed to have already sunk into slumber. Then, Wen sighed and also laid down, entering dreamland where her imaginary boyfriend was waiting.

The next morning, the loud air horn blow echoed throughout the entire hotel room, and probably across the entire hotel, too. Sar woke up immediately and searched for the phone to turn off the sound.
Wen was kicked out of dreamland because of the loud honk and snatched her phone from the bedside table, turning off the alarm. Then she laid back down and pulled her blanket over herself.

"Well, at least it worked." Sar shrugged and walked to the bathroom to get ready. After some time, she came out and Wen also got ready.
It was 7AM, and in due time, they had to go to the meeting spot, which was fortunately not too far away.
