Chapter 4 ~|Training, Uniform and Felines|~

It's sunny today, so the students are training outside. You watch in amazement as Yuji throws perfect punches at a punching bag. In awe at Megumi's Divine dogs. And your eyes widening at Nobara perfect aim with her nails. They're all so skilled. What the fuck are you supposed to do?

For the past hour, you've just been running laps, occasionally punching the punching bag with Yuji and listening to Nobara yap about her crisis while she trains. Sometimes it's about clothes, sometimes modelling, sometimes makeup, etc. You don't dare approach Megumi. Sure he seems different, but he still has that look on his face and you don't want to risk it.

"Hey, (L/n)!" Yuji calls from across the training field while you are seated on a bench.

You stand up and run over to where the boy stands. It's just now you realise that Yuji has acquired a weapon. It's sharp and furry, what a perfect combo. The sharp, butcher knife looking thing, for some reason reminds you of Inosuke Hashibira from Demon Slayer.

"Woah. Cool." You mutter as your gaze is on the weapon.

"Yeah! Gojo-sensei says it holds curse energy." Yuji says, slashing the weapon onto the target.

"Curse energy, huh?" You mutter quietly, making a realisation.

I don't only have to train my physical strength. But how? ...That's actually a good idea.

By simply outstretching your hand, the weapon in Yuji's comes flying over to you. You tense up a bit at the sight of the sharp tool coming at you. Soon enough, you catch it by the handle with ease. During the time you were controlling the weapon to come to you, Nobara's nails were also being attracted, making the girl confused. She looks over to where the nails are aiming at and immediately yells.

"(L/n)! WATCH OUT!"

You turn your head to see three nail heading straight for you. A sharp gasp leaves your mouth and your eyes close shut out of instinct. 

...then open.

Synchronised sighs are heard. The nails fall lifeless onto the ground. What we're expecting? Of course you were able to stop them. Nobara runs over and picks up her nails in a haste. As if she's scared you'll end up turning everyone into a nailed wooden plank. Yuji was the first to calm down, actually, no, the opposite. He was beaming.

"Holy shit! You just snatched the knife out of my hand like Thor's hammer! And you even controlled Kugisaki's nails!" The boy was looking at you with stars in his eyes.

However, Nobara doesn't look as happy, but she was impressed. Walking over, she taps your forehead with her hammer.

"Hey, that was cool and all, but don't copy my flow, newbie." The redhead says, but with little malice.

"Aight. Got ya, cutie." You respond, holding your hands up in a defensive manner.

Wait. Cutie? How the fuck did that slip out? Sure after observing her personality and charming confidence, you knew she liked being complimented. But seriously (Y/n)? Of course you were thinking it, cause the girl is cute. Maybe you said it as a defence mechanism? But seriously (Y/n)? You've just met her a five days ago.

The girl, calming down because of the compliment, smiles. Nobara looks away, up at the sky, swinging her hammer out off your face. Megumi finally comes over to check out what y'all were up to, brining his Divine dogs with him.
