After 3 minutes of waiting to hear news about Matthew the two worried boys knew they would have to wait longer. A lot longer. " Alfred F Jones! And Gilbert!" Roared the principal as he stormed into the nurses office, a teacher reported the fight to the principle and both boys knew they were in trouble. "What on earth happened?!" The principal asked in a loud angry tone as he faced Alfred who was known as the hero of the school and a straight A and B student "why would you do something like this??" The principal didn't take his eyes off of Alfred, disappointment was drawn all over the principals face as Alfred looked down. " I-I was trying to protect Mattie" Alfred replied and that's when the principal glanced at Gilbert "what happened to Matthew?" And that's when the two explained it all from Gilbert meeting Matthew to the misunderstanding and Matthew getting hurt. They where some what lucky, instead of an ear full they got an hour detention. "I'll see you both after school, now I'll allow you to stay here until Matthew wakes up ok?" Gilbert and Alfred exchanged looks then nodded at the principal happy and thankful he'd allow them to skip classes.

After a little while longer of waiting the nurse walked over to the two boys who were now talking about sports and had began to learn about each other. "Matthew is awake now if you'd like to see him," the nurse explained "sure, let's go dude," Alfred smiled a he stood from his seat walking over to where Matthew was located and Gilbert followed close behind. "Yo, Mattie you ok bro?" Alfred asked worried "y-yeah, you hit hard Alfred," Matthew replied rubbing his head softly, "sorry about that," Matthew smiled softly at his brother "it's all right, you were just looking out for me and took it the wrong way," 'he's TOO nice' Gilbert thought his eyes never leaving Canada "oh uh hi Gilbert, thank you for coming I guess" Matthew said in his usually soft voice. "Welcome, and I'm glad your feeling better," Gilbert replied slightly looking away embarrassed as he snapped out of his thoughts, "If your all right we should all get to class," Alfred added and Matthew nodded in agreement "sure, let's go. It's just a small head ache so I'll be alright," Matthew explained with a small adorable smile that Gilbert tried to not stare at or at least not get caught staring. Alfred glanced at Gilbert noticing him watching Matthew but shrugged it off, "so what class do you have Gilbert? Do you know?" Alfred asked getting Gilbert's attention "uh, he has art with me," Matthew smiled softly at his brother "I thought science was your third class bro," Alfred said slightly confused and Matthew became confused as well. "Was...was I knocked out that long?" Matthew glanced at his brothers watch 'hm I guess I was' he thought "ja ve got a little vorried because ju took almost two hours to vake up," Gilbert explained with a small happy smile. "So science is almost over?" Matthew said with a small bit of sadness in his eyes, science was his favorite class "let's go, see you later al," Matthew said as he quickly grabbed Gilbert's hand and running him into the science room sneaking to their seats. "Does anyone sit vith ju?" Gilbert asked a little confused as he was forced to sit besides Matthew. "No, I always sit alone," Matthew smiled softly but his eyes showed soft sadness and Gilbert started to feel bad for the poor Canadian and could tell he got lonely often. "Vell now the avesome me shall sit vith ju in every class!~" Gilbert smiled big and bright and Matthew smiled back softly with a small nod. Matthew was happy he finally made a friend by himself, the only other person he knew was Arthur but he met him because of his brother, Arthur was like another brother to Matthew because Arthur was so close to Alfred. Matthew had a strong feeling Arthur liked Alfred but Alfred was clueless even to his own feelings.
