     ONE THING LEAD to another. it was such a fine day to start your plan heading out to the golden city. which is the reason why Nami was very excited because of the word gold— a city of gold. she thought.

so you all head out. all was perfect and according to plan. not until a gigantic python attacked the group which lead you all to split up... and Luffy was eaten. but that wasn't the problem here, the problem is that the group had split into different paths. where you think Robin is only the one taking the right path towards the city.

all the possible thoughts and feelings of something bad is about to happen crossed your mind. suddenly, you felt the hairs on the back of your neck perk up, making you bolt away as fast as you could to a direction where you don't even know where it will lead you to.  it didn't matter to you as of the moment. what matters to you is that how in hell can you get rid of the bolt of lightning following you closely.

"I SWEAR ON MY NAME—" you shouted as you ran and ran until you came into a dead end. turning around, you saw the lightning bolt stopped, in an arms length away from you. "what is it that you why? why are you even

the lightning bolt transformed into Enel, though it was only his upper part. "is that any way to greet your lover, (name)?" he ask mockingly as he floated his way towards you— who took a step back until your back hit the tree.

you scowled at him. "you're not my lover, Enel. you never were... in fact, we weren't even a thing back then. you're were just delusional— thinking i'd fall for someone like you."

there was a little lie right there, in your words. see, you really did fell for him, at some point, but then he suddenly acted all crazy. it suffocates you how he became so possessive and controlling over you. he'd even go to such lengths as killing people.

juts for you.

you didn't like it. that was the time where you threw your feelings out the trash. it was also the time where he had locked you up in a basement inside his fucking ship.

observing his expression, it was clear as day that he was hurt. he felt his chest tighten painfully hearing your words. it was harsh, very harsh. so much that he wanted to lock you up again. away from the eyes of other people.

a sly smile on his lips as he continued to float closer to you. "(name), don't play coy with me. you know exactly what we were." he reached his hand to touch your cheek.

he was hurt alright. what you said was the truth, though he didn't want to admit that he was nothing but a friend to you back then. he wanted you to see him more than just a friend. because that's how he felt the moment his eyes landed on you.

"like i said, we're nothing but good ol' friends, what part of it do you not understand?"

he gently caressed you cheek. "i understand it perfectly well..." he replied his tone dripping with mockery as he retracted his hand away from your cheek. "but you left me..."

you heard him mumble some words that made you squint your eyes at him. "what?"

"you walked out on me. you left me behind and now you're acting like you're enjoying this new life!"
