Above his eyes, birds soared, cutting every inch of the sky. [Y/N] always wondered, and wondered. The massive stone door opened once he steps close enough, welcoming him to his death. Each step took him closer, to his doom. [Y/N] traced the stony walls, feeling the texture of carved out pictures. Once he held his torch, it showed pictures of a story told long ago. The pictures described ancient beings, long ago, from the Void Century, or even older, about the Blazing Sun. It's a mythical sword, one that many have tried to get, but all have failed, because of their greedy behavior; selfishness, cockiness, and no true will for peace, only war.
The pictures had captions beneath them. Each was titled with a catching name.
The story was placed into pieces.
The beings long ago, worshipped a god, who's name is Nika. The beings thought that the Blazing Sun was a gift, from the Sun God. With respect, the beings sealed the legendary sword, into a temple, for trials, for one worthy soul to claim and take possession of it. On the drawn walls, [Y/N] could see the text of the captions, and what it was describing.
The text was ancient. Ones from the Poneglyphs. [Y/N] had a gift, that he could read it. It was all, thanks to his mother. [Y/N] slowly walked down the ancient hall, with more stories being told. But, something stood out to [Y/N]. There was one text, one that was almost...non-ancient, and English. It had a fiery outline, like a message from the spirits.
Peace is key.
It seemed like words of wisdom, but it was not. It was like, part of a prophecy, one that the beings wished, would come true, but it never came to them.
It felt chilling for [Y/N], but he wasn't afraid. After all, he'd seen worse. [Y/N] decides to walk further down the hall, and he met a stony door. The door was old, very old. In fact, green tenticles wrapped themselves onto the door. There were letters on the door, and unreadable. It seemed like the language from the Poneglyphs, like from earlier.
The rusted green moss covered most of the writing, but [Y/N] could see some of it.
....ace is beneath the walls.
That was the answer. [Y/N] earlier noticed a disorentation on one of the pictures, like as if it was just there. But [Y/N] ignored it, thinking it was just a coincidence. He traced the walls, trying to find where the hidden passage way was. He held up his torch, and saw a hidden button in the darkness. It was covered in moss, dirty moss. The button creaked when [Y/N] applied pressure to the grey stone. Shifting into the pictured walls, a mysterious hall was revealed. The torches blazed with fire in life.
The tunnel oddly had lush, beautiful green moss covering the sides, with beautiful carved out pictures of a dragon with a person on the clouds, indicating a god protecting the people that believes in it.
The tunnel lead to another dead end, but deep down, [Y/N] knew that he need to scan the tunnel.
The tunnel seemed vast, with multiple different pictures, and some cracks and crevices were on the wall, probably to make it more difficult. The walls had some cracks, with most being lightly cracked. However, [Y/N] noticed a portion of the right wall that oddly didn't have any cracks, with the cracks around it shaping a...door?
Curiousity played their part. [Y/N] wanted to push the wall, and he did. The wall instantly reacted quickly, shuffling the walls to form an entrance. There was another puzzle. This time, it was reminecient to ones that need a code from the puzzle. In the middle, laid a keypad. This generation was really more advanced than right now.
The puzzle had different shapes, but the shapes to use the puzzle were more complicated, like an IQ test.
There were complicated shapes, ones that would look like they could be put together into a square. That was the key.
There was a squared hole in the middle
So if [Y/N] wanted to pass...
Thats it! [Y/N] got to work immediately. His hands moved at light speed, combining multiple patterns possible, and finally, managing to complete the square.
But there was one more piece left out.
He re-opened the cube, spotting a missing spot impossible for the one piece to fit through. He thinks again, this time he wanted to try with a different approach. Most would've given up by now, but [Y/N] was desperate.
He would never give up no matter what is avaiable and what isn't.
He finished the puzzle, and put the finished cube in, as the door slowly opened, revealing the middle of the temple. The one that all have reached, and failed.
In the middle, stood what he wanted. What all of those warriors wanted.
The Blazing Sun, engraved in an obsidian rock.
The sword stood tall, its hilt wrapped in crimson leather that seemed to pulse faintly with energy. Flames danced along the blade, their glow illuminating the chamber. Surrounding the pedestal were six shrines, each bearing a unique emblem that seemed to correspond to a trial. [Y/N] approached cautiously, feeling the weight of centuries pressing down on him.
As he wrapped his fingers around the hilt, the sword reacted instantly. A wave of heat surged through his body, syncing with his heartbeat. The shrines around him blazed to life, their emblems glowing as they pulsed with the same fiery energy.
His trials had begun.
