Wall announcements will be staying on for just 24 hours. After that - I will be deleting all I've written, due to people who stalk me taking snapshots of what I've written, and then using it against me, or to report me and my books.

Perchance, I might leave a post for 2-3 days, or longer, if there is an ongoing conversation with a fan, or a reader, and I am waiting for their reply. But all I've posted on my wall will be purged, for the reason above. However, I never delete the stuff other people post there, albeit it be extremely rare. So, if you want to tell me stuff - posting on my wall is a safe way to do so.

It sounds crazy, but I've been burnt by this too many times in the last couple of years. It's one of my rules.
