Hey guys
I typically don't like to get serious on this app bc I've always thought it's been my safe space. It is my safe space. I've been able to be myself be who I am and not get discriminated for things I don't have control over.
But apparently that has changed.
It makes me want to cry when I see things said by other people about the most silly things. Things that I shouldn't have to worry about right now. I want Wattpad to stay my safe spot, a place where I can write whatever I want and feel happy about it.
The biggest thing is the election;
I don't like to talk about politics, I think it's a subject in which everyone has the right to their own opinion. And I believe it should stay that way forever and ever. I think that no matter who you vote for you have the right to your own opinion; and I can assure you that that is in the constitution of the United States of America.
I just read on if my favorite stories just to be stopped by the next chapter to see that the person I voted for being discriminated, as well as my religion. And I am very aware that everyone has the right to their own opinion, but I think that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. Because you could hurt others around you without even realizing it.
Im a 15 year old American citizen, I should not be told that I was wrong for who I believed should run our country. Nor should I be told that my religion is based on a solid lie or that i am doing bad for my country.
