Reece wakes up, rubbing his eyes as he notices Marjorie still fast asleep. It was 6:45, not long before the alarm was set to go off. Reece attempted to sneak out of bed to make himself and Marjorie a coffee each however Marjorie's eyes fluttered open and she couldn't help but grab Reece and pull him back into bed "don't go." she whimpered.

"I was just gonna get us some coffee gorgeous." Reece replies as he stroked her hair.

"I'll come with you then." Marjorie smiled and slowly stood up.

"How are you feeling today?" Reece asked as he grabbed her hand.

"Just tired." She responds while rubbing her eyes.

1 hour later..

Marjorie walks into her office, she was running slightly late.

"You're late Marjorie." Autumn snapped at her, while giving her the look of death.

"Sorry, slightly overslept." Marjorie laughed before she noticed the look on autumns face "What on earth is that look for!?" She questioned.

"Well, you've arrived late for a start, you've only finished half of the reports, you haven't read through Carly's coursework, her assessor is coming in today and this months invoices haven't been sorted." Autumn replies.

A look of guilt appeared on Marjorie's face "it's all my fault, I'm so sorry." She says while sat with her head in her hands. "I'll get on with it now." she adds.

Autumn nodded while Marjorie let out a sigh as she began typing on her computer attempting to get all of her priorities straight. She felt as if she'd taken her eyes slightly off the ball since being back at work after finding out she was pregnant, she spent most of the day beating herself up about it, giving herself a hard time. Hours passed, and she couldn't help but let this horrid mood take over.

"Marjorie" Carly calls as she walks into the office.

"What." Marjorie snaps.

"Uh- Courtney is here, have you got my coursework?" She asks.

A look appeared on Marjorie's face as if to say 'shit' since she'd clearly forgotten to proofread it for Carly. She grabbed the folder from the desk and said "take it."

"Uh- thanks" Carly said nervously. "Are you okay?" She asked.

"Just go." Marjorie huffed.

Carly left the room, slightly confused, Marjorie's usual bubbly personality was no where to be seen.

Later on, Marjorie let out a sigh of relief and fell back into her chair as she'd finally gotten everything done that she needed to do. She shut down the computer, tidied her desk and looked up. Reece walked in the room.

"Hey you" he said.

"You alright darling?" She smiled, hiding the fact that she was absolutely shattered and had a desperate craving for something salty.

"Yeah I'm good, sorry I didn't get a chance to get away so I could come and check on you." He apologised, moving closer to her.

"Don't worry about it, I've been too busy anyway" Marjorie rolled her eyes and stood up. She felt her stomach grumble, she placed a hand over it, almost as if she was trying to silence it.

"I heard that.. are you hungry sweetheart?" He notices Marjorie's lunch on the side, completely untouched. "You haven't eaten a thing, are you alright?"

"Let's just go to the car, I'll explain on the way home." She muttered looking rather upset.

Marjorie and Reece were sat in the car, Reece driving. It was silent. Reece seeing Marjorie upset caused his heart to ache, he wanted to know what was wrong with her but she just kept brushing it off.

"Wanna talk about it gorgeous? I know somethings bothering you." He says in a rather concerned tone.

"It'll sound silly, just forget-" she is interrupted mid sentence by Reece.

"No it won't Marjorie, I'm not gonna judge you, just talk, I'm here to listen." He reassures her.

"It all started with autumn, when I walked in late this morning, she told me that only half of the reports were done, Carly's coursework hadn't been proofread and none of the invoices had been sorted yet. She acted like it was all my fault- I mean it was, hence why I've been so busy all day trying to catch up on it all." She says with her head in her hands.

"It isn't your fault Marjorie" he puts a hand on her thigh. "Stop blaming yourself, I know autumn probably made it seem like it was your fault, plus, she doesn't know you're pregnant." He adds.

"It's just so draining, I don't know what to do." She shrugs.

"You can't do anything, it can't be helped, it'll be okay." Reece tries to comfort her as he parks the car. He walks over to Marjorie's side and opens the door for her. She hops out of the car and throws her arms around him, she begins to sob. Reece pulled her closer to his chest causing her sobs to lighten "I love you gorgeous." He says.

Marjorie tenses up "Don't let go. Please"

"I won't let go sweetheart." The two stood there for a few moments until Marjorie calmed down. Marjorie slowly pulled away and grabbed Reece's hand as he lead her into the house. She took her heels off, Reece scooped her up and walked into the kitchen with her arms and legs wrapped around him. "What do you fancy for dinner gorgeous?" He asks.

"Are there any pizzas left?" She responds. "I could order one if not." She added.

"I don't think so, don't worry though, I've got something.." He began gathering ingredients to prepare a pizza from scratch. He stops and admires Marjorie with his glistening blue eyes.

Marjorie notices Reece looking at her "what?" She says.

"I can't take my eyes off of you." He says.

"Oh don't be silly Reece, I look a mess." She laughs softly.

"Don't ever say that again Mrs knight." He walks toward her.

"And why is that 'Mr knight'?" She asks jokingly.

"Because no matter what, you always look stunning." He says as he picks her up in true bridal style, spinning her around, flicking on the radio and "lovesong" by Adele plays in the background.
