It's the first snowfall of the season, and the world outside Taylor's apartment looks like something out of a snow globe. You've been talking about this all week, hoping the forecast would be right for once. Now, the city is blanketed in fresh, soft snow, and Taylor has already pulled you over to the window, her excitement contagious.

"Look at it! It's beautiful!" she says, her eyes lighting up as she gazes out the window. She's wrapped up in a cozy sweater, her hair tucked into a knit hat she grabbed from the closet.

"I don't know which one's prettier the snow or you," you say, smiling as she laughs and playfully swats your arm.

"Flattery will get you everywhere," she grins, grabbing your hand. "Come on, we're going out in it. You don't get a first snowfall like this every day."

Bundled up in coats, scarves, and gloves, the two of you head outside into the crisp, quiet night. Snowflakes drift down, catching in Taylor's hair and dusting her shoulders. She's already beaming with excitement, and you feel a warmth blooming in your chest as you watch her.

"Race you to the park!" she calls out, taking off before you can respond.

You laugh, running after her, your feet crunching through the fresh snow. She's fast, but you manage to catch up, the two of you laughing breathlessly as you reach the park. The trees are laced with snow, their branches arching over the path like something out of a fairytale.

Taylor slows down, her breath coming in soft puffs as she takes it all in. "This is perfect," she says softly, her eyes wide as she watches the snow fall around you.

"I think it just got better," you reply, reaching down to scoop up a handful of snow and forming it into a snowball.

She gasps, backing away with a mischievous look. "Oh, no. You wouldn't dare."

You smirk, tossing the snowball gently at her, where it lands softly on her shoulder. "I would."

Taylor laughs, quickly retaliating with a snowball of her own. The two of you break into an impromptu snowball fight, laughter echoing through the quiet park. You try to dodge, but she nails you with a perfect throw, and you raise your hands in mock surrender, breathless and grinning.

"Okay, okay, you win," you laugh, wiping snow from your jacket.

Taylor smiles victoriously, stepping closer until she's only inches away. There's a spark in her eyes, the cold bringing a flush to her cheeks. The playful mood between you melts into something softer, something that makes your heart race.

"Thanks for being here," she says, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Wouldn't want to be anywhere else," you reply, gazing at her in the soft glow of the streetlamp nearby.

For a moment, you just stand there, snowflakes falling around you, the quiet of the night wrapping you both in a peaceful bubble. Then, Taylor closes the distance, her lips meeting yours in a gentle, tender kiss. It's soft, warm, and perfect, and you feel like time has stopped, just the two of you in this little world of snow.

When she pulls back, she smiles, her eyes shining. "Let's make this a tradition," she says. "First snowfall, every year. Just us."

You smile back, nodding. "It's a date."

Hand in hand, you walk back through the snowy park, feeling closer than ever. And as you head home, you can't help but think that this simple, snowy night will be one of the most special memories you'll ever have.
