I wrote this first chapter after a long day, I had no idea where I was going I just let my last braincell do whatever she wanted

Janis was painting in her room. Since she came back from vacation she had a lot of new ideas, so she spent a lot of time creating art. She was in a good mood, working on her canva while singing along with her playlist. She heard a soft knock on her door.
"Come in," the brunette said. She already knew who it was so she didn't even have to turn around, plus she was too focused on her work to look away. A few seconds later she felt two arms wrapping her shoulders from behind.
"Hey," Janis smiled.
"Hi," Regina said before placing a gentle kiss on her cheek.
The brunette put her brush on her desk and turned around to kiss the blonde.
"How was work?" the artist asked.
"A bit boring," Regina answered, "but uhm... I wanted to talk to you about something." she added, pulling away from Janis' embrace.
"Okay..." the brunette answered, sitting on her bed and inviting the blonde to do the same, "is something wrong?"
"No no, don't worry," Regina quickly answered, seeing the anxious look on her girlfriend's face, "it's just that my mom called, she wants to spend the week-end over."
Janis sighed in relief. "Cool!" she said, "it'll be nice to see her without being at a funeral!"
The blonde nervously laughed. "The thing is," she said, "I haven't told her about us, or that I'm a lesbian..."
"Oh I see," the brunette answered.
"But I want to tell her... eventually," Regina added, fidgeting on her rings, "but I don't know if I'm ready."
"So do you want us to play simple roommates while she's here?" Janis asked.
The blonde nodded. "I'm sorry," she said, staring at the floor.
"Hey," Janis said softly while taking her hand, "it's totally fine! Just take your time, if you don't feel like coming-out to her this week-end you'll tell her another time!"
Regina smiled and kissed her hand. "You are the best, do you know that?" she asked.
"Oh I know," Janis giggled.

On Saturday morning, Janis was getting ready in the bathroom when she heard some loud screaming coming from downstairs. She immediately assumed that June George just arrived and that Karen and Gretchen were overly excited about that. And she was right: as she was going down the stairs, she saw the two plastics hugging Regina's mom. The three women looked so happy and were all talking at the same time about how amazing it was for them to spend the week-end together.
Damian also came out of his room to greet June.
"Welcome to Barbie's Gay House!" he said while hugging her.
"Thank you so much for having me, this place looks so cute," June smiled, "oh hi my babies!" she said when she saw Regina and Janis approaching.
She hugged them both. She held the brunette so tight that she thought she would suffocate.
"How are you honey?" June softly asked Janis.
"I'm good, thank you." she smiled.
"Are you sure?" the mother insisted.
