Healing Strays

Chapter 6

"We're home!" Chan calls as they cross the threshold, making sure to pull the two nest filled suitcases with him. Nari had been left with her own clothes filled suitcase and the duffle bag filled with all her books for healing. Chan had also insisted on bundling her up in his sweatshirt, regardless of the fact it left him without one. His manager had simply sighed and handed him a new sweatshirt when they'd gotten to the car.

"How was she?" Jisung calls from somewhere off the entranceway.

"Yeah hyung. Did she meet our big bad pack alpha's approval?" Seungmin quips from somewhere else.

"Yah!" Chan exclaims, turning to Nari with a grumbled "Kids, I tell you." She starts to giggle into the hood of his sweatshirt as he calls back, "SHE is here with me, so watch yourselves." There're some loud thumps around the apartment and some colorful swearing as Nari continues to laugh, though she leans forward to press her face into Chan's back.

"She's here!" Jisung screams, running into the entranceway. Nari unwinds herself from Chan as Jisung pull her face into his hands, "Oh look at you my lovely omega. Welcome home. Oh I'm so excited." He starts to pepper her face in kisses and lean forward to scent her. he pulls back, hands back on her cheeks, "You're here to stay, right? Please tell me you're here to stay."

Minho appears out of nowhere, pulling Jisung back by his scruff, "Easier, Sungie. Don't send her down again. Give her a second to breathe."

Nari sways a bit, and Changbin is quick to pull her into his arms, "Thanks." She whispers, feeling dazed. She stares up at Changbin, a bit of a loopy smile on her face as she pats his cheek, "Pretty alpha."

Changbin flushes bright red all over, head ducking down into her neck, but his ears give him away for everyone to see as they chuckle. "Yes, he is a pretty alpha." Chan adds, chuckling as Changbin just whines against the back of Nari's neck.

Nari shakes her head a couple times, trying to clear the fog from her brain, "Jeez." she mutters as her mind starts to clear a bit, "One of these days I'll hopefully be able to get scented by you without going completely under. You just... pack a punch right now." she gives Jisung a soft, apologetic smile.

Seungmin and Jeongin peak around the corner at them as Jisung shrinks into Minho's chest, "Sorry."

Nari shakes her head, "No. No sorrys. It's nice. Really relaxing."

Felix pops up as well, clinging onto Chan, "You haven't been around many omegas, right?" He asks.

Nari nods slowly, "Yeah. They tried to keep me away from really anyone when I was doing my trainings. There was some nervousness about how my omega side and my healer side would react to others."

Felix's eyes widen, "Ah, then it makes sense. You're scent deprived."

That seems to set off a light bulb for all of them, and Jisung even whines. "Um..." Nari starts, glancing between all of them, "What does... what does that mean?"

Chan stares at her, "Nari, sweetheart, did they ever give you the secondary gender health class?"

She stares at him, before slightly shaking her head. Felix gives her a wide smile, "I'm on it. We'll do it once you get a bit more settled."

"I... um...." Nari whispers, finding herself at a loss here.

"You'll be fine." Changbin whispers next to her as the others move into the apartment, helping Chan grab Nari's bags, "Felix helped walk most of us through things. His family has betas, alphas, and omegas in its history, so he got instructed on all three just in case. No one was really sure which way his genetics were going to swing. He's also really good about not judging you for not knowing something."
