Chapter 5

"Regina?" Emma cried falling to her knees

In front of her lay an unconscious Regina with cuts along her arms. A pool of blood starting to form.

"Henry! Go call 911!" Emma screamed not wanting him to see his mother like this.

Emma crawled over to Regina and held her tight. Emma felt her eyes become watery and soon enough her vision became blurry with tears.

"Regina, please. You can't leave Henry. He needs you...I need you!" cried Emma

She hurt loud footsteps of the paramedics coming up the stairs.

"Please Regina....I love you"

Regina woke up to the sounds of people talking all around her. Her eyes fluttered open and what she saw warmed her heart. All around her was Snow, Charming, Henry and Emma. She looked up at Emma and smiled.

"Look who's up!" said Emma noticing Regina looking at her

"Mom!" said Henry rushing in for a hug before Emma stopped him

"Hey kid, you got to be careful okay? She is in a hospital bed" said Emma as she let Henry go

This time Henry slowing walked over to Regina and gave her a hug.

"I thought I lost you, Mom" cried Henry into her shoulder

"Shh it's okay. I'm here and I'm okay. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." soothed Regina

"I love you, Mom" said Henry releasing her from the hug

"I love you more" smiled Regina

After Snow and Charming leaving, with Henry and talking with Dr. Whale, Regina knew what she had done. She felt awful that she gave them that much pain. She never meant to hurt anybody, but herself.

Regina eyes began to fill will tears. She closed her eyes hoping this was all just a dream. But she felt someone's hand slip into hers. Regina opened her eyes and saw Emma's hand in hers.

"Regina, I need to talk to you-"

Suddenly the door swung open and Robin coming running in. Regina's eyes went wide with shock. Why would he come? She thought to herself

"Regina, darling are you alright?" he said pushing Emma out his way and out of Regina hand.

"Robin. What are you doing here?" asked Regina sternly

"I've come to visit you. My beautiful girlfriend" he said smiling

Emma almost choked on air. She couldn't believe Hood and just said that. Was he really that cocky?

"I'm sorry but I can't help but overhear your conversation but last time I check Regina wasn't your girlfriend. She broke up with you." said Emma butting in

"Thank you Emma," said a smiling Regina "Robin, I am not your girlfriend. I don't love you, I love someone else."

Robin suddenly became furious.

"Who? Who is it? Who stole you from me?" he yelled scaring Regina

Regina shook her head. She didn't want to answer. Tears formed and threatened to fall as he kept yelling who had taken her heart.

"I did"

Regina looked up at who said the words. Emma. Her eyes lit up as the blonde smiled towards her.

"I'm the one she loves" said Emma confidently.

Emma remembered that night when they fell asleep on Henry's bed. Regina, who thought she was asleep, whispered that she loved Emma. And Emma had been repeating those words in her head ever since. And she's figured out that she loves Regina.

"What? Regina in love with the Savior? Impossible!" laughed Robin

"No, it's not impossible. Because I love her too" said Emma looking Regina right in the eye when she said it.

"Robin, get out!" said Emma sternly pushing him out the door

Emma closed the door and locked it. She closed her eyes and relaxed. Emma walked over to Regina's side and took her hand in her own.

"Regina, I-" Emma started before Regina crashed her lips on hers

Emma didn't kiss back at first, her head was running wild. When she realized what she was doing she started to kiss back.

Their lips moved as one. Emma laced their hands together. Regina smiled as she kissed Emma. Regina was the first to pull away.

"Emma I'm-" started Regina

"I love you"

"I love you too"
