The Evil Queens Happy Ending

Chapter 4

Regina woke up in Henry's bed alone. She rubbed the sleeps out of the corners of her eyes and sat up. Regina untangled her legs from the silk sheets, stood up, and opened the shades. Immediately she was pierced with a ray of sunshine, almost blinding her.

Walking towards the door she starting hearing music playing. What is that? Regina made her way to the stairs and slid down the railing. At the end of the staircase she hopped off to go see what that noise was.

Regina skipped to the music following it's sound. She found herself in the kitchen where she couldn't believe what she saw.

Emma and Henry dancing around the kitchen and making pancakes, while, of course, making a mess in the process of doing so. Without them noticing she made her way behind Henry and wrapped her arms around him.

"What the hell?" exclaimed Henry as he jumped at his mother's touch

"Henry what is-" said Emma turning around noticing Regina hugging Henry from behind, "Oh! Gina, I didn't realize you had woken up."

"Well how could I sleep when you two idiots were blasting music," replied Regina smartly, "What God awful song is this?"

"Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor, obviously. " said Henry as he detached himself from Regina.

"Pancakes are ready!" announced Emma as she placed a huge stack of pancakes on the kitchen island.

"Breakfast!" yelled Regina and Henry at the same time

Emma and Henry sat down at the island and started to devour the tower of pancakes before them. Unlike the two bears in front of her, Regina slowly started eating her breakfast.

Once everyone was done and had put their dishes in the sick, the trio made their way to the living room and plopped down on the couch.

"Are you guys together?" asked Henry abruptly

Regina and Emma looked at their son with shock spread across their faces.

"Ummmm" mumbled Regina not knowing how to answer

"No. We aren't," stated Emma, "Henry you know I'm with Killian and that your mom has recently...separated from Robin"

"I know but I just thought that they way you guys have been getting along lately that you guys were, you know, together."

Emma and Regina looked at each other and then back at Henry.

"Henry, I know you want us to get together but Gina and I aren't each others happy ending, you know that."

Regina's eyes filled with sadness. She knew Emma and Killian were together, but ever since Robin had left, Emma was all she had.

Regina quickly got up from her spot on the couch and ran to her room. She slammed the door shut and collapsed onto her bed.

Emma, very confused as to why Regina ran to her room, followed her and left Henry on the couch. Emma knocked on the bedroom door softly at first, but soon began banging on to door when Regina didn't answer.

"Regina please!" pleaded Emma

No answer.

"Regina!" screamed Emma getting worried

Again, no answer.

"Regina please, I can't loose you!"

Without any answer Emma kicked down the door to find Regina no where in sight. The master bathroom. That's where Emma assumed she could be.

Emma opened the bathroom door and what she saw in front of her broke her heart.
