The Centennial Kestrel made its way across the Sea of Phoolimere to the shrine overlooking its waters. The ship landed near a staircase that led to the shrine, then the ramp opened to let Sorrenn out.

Sorrenn, where are you going?" Klludd asked when through an intercom in the cockpit.

Sorrenn looked back at the ship and politely said, "To see an old friend."

He then walked up the stairs to the shrine, seeing the sea as he did before a long time ago. He wishes to find the keeper of the shrine only to find naught but some footprints that seemed to be reptilian. As he followed them, the prints slowly become surprisingly more scratazonian in form. He followed the changing prints all the way to their source, then sees a hooded figure that looked feminine upon closer inspection.

"Hello, Sorrenn." The figure said calmly. Sorrenn said nothing. The figure turned around towards him, then spider-like appendages started sprouting from her back. She slowly removed her cloak to reveal who she really was. Sorrenn was shocked when he knew who he was seeing.

"Queen Blackarachnia of the Arachnid Clan?"

The disguised monarch came to him slowly, then looks down on him with a stern expression.

"85 scratazonian years." She started. "I have been on this shrine in a reptilian prison of a body for 85 scratazonian years. And now..."

She stared down on him as if she was looking into her soul.

"I'm free."

She suddenly embraced him with her spindly protrusions. Sorrenn looks through the Corinthian Leather cloak to see a ghostly form walking towards them, then he started to faint. Blackarachnia slapped his face slightly to make sure he didn't faint.

"Hold yourself together, guardian." She said. "He just came to say hello." She went to the spirit's side, then looked back at Sorrenn. He was surprised to realize that the spirit was that of Metal Fang, the former Lord High Tytto of the Pure Ones Clan.

'Nice to see you again, old friend.' the spirit spoke in Sorrenn's head. He had never heard anyone say 'old friend' in that tone before. The two he sees look down on the ship below, at Klludd waiting in the cockpit. Then they look back at him.

"Thanks for taking care of our daughter." Blackarachnia said as they turn to the twin suns rising in the horizon.

'See you on the other side, Sorrenno Titanis of The Shire' Metal Fang, or rather, Wildcat said in Sorrenn's mind. The last thing that he saw of them was the couple walking off the edge of the shrine, then they gradually dissipated into the sunlight, departing this life.

As equals.

(A few minutes later)

Klludd was waiting in the cockpit of the Kestrel, then he saw Sorrenn walking down the stairs. When he got in the ship, Sorrenn sat by his brother and prepared to return to the Great tree.

"How was your meeting with this old friend of yours?" Klludd asked.

Sorrenn said nothing. Just gave a face that told him everything. Klludd slowly knew what the face meant, so he remained silent as well. The ship got off the ground and went back across the Sea of Phoolimere, passing the shrine as 2 other familiar ghostly figures watched on.

(The figures were the parents of Sorrenn and Klludd, if anyone is wondering)

"Well done, my sons." The female one said.

"You have finally finished what we started." The male next to her followed. Then they too dissappear from existence, proud of their sons succeeding in what their parents should of done long ago.
