A few weeks later and marianne told me what happened with Roland. She told me he cheated on her.
I would arrive at the dance with Marianne and dawn, I was absolutely angry as I saw Roland approach Marianne, he started talking "Marianne.. please say you'll understand.. she was just a passing flame, not a permanent thing."
Marianne looked absolutely bewildered and filled with rage, "You cheated on me.." Roland looked calm, not a care in the world, "Marianne, I'll do anything to make it right.." he would get on his knees, his eyes pleading and unsincere, Marianne looked even more angry, "You have a lot of nerve walking in here.."
