Felix's POV

It was Monday, half way through the semester at school. I say goodbye to my dad after he drops me off at school in his big blue truck. I usually take my motorbike to school but their is no way I can even look at one of those things without feeling sick to the stomach after what had caused me to be on crutches. That thing landed me in hospital for a few days with an injury to my right knee, a big massive permanent ugly scar across my knee and the trauma of it all. 13 stitches. I don't remember a thing from that night.

I am wearing a black tank top and dark denim, high knee hockey socks and my favourite black and white adidas shoes. I love my style simple yet perfect for me. It also didn't draw to much attention to me. I like to be unnoticed.

Still on crutches I managed to make my way up the stairs and to my locker with my heavy bag on my back. People don't see me struggling they just walk past listening to music all with blank faces like they are zombies. Only I bet a zombie trying to eat my brains would be a lot more pleasant to be around.

I reach my locker and twist my code in. After trying to open my locker, my locker wouldn't budge.

"Fucking Hell," I mutter under my breath from frustration. I swear a lot when I'm frustrated. Its not a big deal they are only words.

I then look at my locker number; 31 to then find out I was at the wrong locker. Feeling like a complete idiot I moved across to my locker number 32. I grab my math textbook and put it in my bag. Right on time the bell rung signaling its time to go to class.

On my crutches I hopped along very gracefully, note the sarcasm, to my first class, Math's. The walls of the school were a yucky stale cream colour like they hadn't been painted in forever and the bluish grey colour of the lockers were so boring. I averted my attention to the posters all along the lockers of Chase the captain of the basketball team you guessed it the posters were of him playing basketball. I play basketball as well but our school doesn't have a girl's team so I just play for fun by myself with the court we have at home. Luckily my dad was big on basketball. I was really starting to get annoyed with not being able to play basketball with the injuries that I have at the moment. Sitting at home in my room was driving me crazy. At least at school there was something to do. Although at lunch I would just spend my time in the library doing homework since I didn't bother trying to make friends here at Eastwood high school. My best friend Mia went to our rivalry school. I don't know how we became friends we didn't have much in common. She hated basketball and all sports for that matter and she loved attention and had lots of friends. She is very popular but she was never mean to anyone, she loves people. I hated the human population.

Urghh! I hate math it's my worst subject. Luckily, I was passing.

When I reached my math's classroom, I was just about to open the door when someone from the other side pushed it open hitting me in the head, before I even felt the pain of hitting the ground everything went black.

Chase's POV

I was watching a girl I don't think recognised her she didn't look familiar. She was hopping on crutches with what it looks like she injured her knee. I was just observing when she was about to open the door to the classroom when someone on the other side pushed it open causing her to hit her head. The girl fell to the ground. I rushed to her side to see if she was ok, to find her lying on the ground unconscious the guy who hit her just walked of clearly not know what happened. I could hear the heavy metal music streaming from his headphones.
