Caspian
Reed had learnt to trust ever so slightly more than before. He didn't talk much, but he built up the courage to ask about Olivette. In truth I had no idea, I knew she was in the mortal realm however, I had no idea if she was safe. When I told her father this he refused to eat the rest of his lunch. The next day he did eat though.
"Caspian." Mirage studied from behind me. I turned half way, "Yes, Mirage?" She wore a deep purple dress with such intricate parts it would be a hassle to describe. "Father asked to see you." I clicked my tongue out of habit at the word father. He was barely a father to us, and when he was he was horrible. I stormed off without another word, Mirage knew better than to stop me.
I arrived at my fathers throne room, a place he vacated often. There he sat on his golden throne. A smaller seat made of bronze sat vacant beside his own, my mothers throne. I did not bow, he did not deserve such respect.
"What is it you want father?" I questioned him. He waved his hand to the servant to his left, "Leave us." The servant scurried away. Father turned to me, "The King has summoned a meeting of all the warlocks, as well as their champions. Ask your maid to dress you in something more," He looked me up and down before having a face of disgust, "appropriate."
I frowned, I was just wearing a green tunic and pants, something similar to what I wore while I was on my mission. "When do we leave?" He shifted in his seat before resting atop his hand, "We were asked to be there in an hour, however, we will be arriving early."
My brows knitted, "Why?" My father glanced at me like that of a spoiled brat, "I have other priorities to finalize." If I werent in his palace I would spit in his face, "By other priorities you mean fucking the Warlock of Priyca." A waft of magic swam past me yet I did not falter. I instead turned my back to him and left the throne room to get ready.
My maid dressed me in my attire for seeing the other Warlocks; a forest green suit that resembled human military leader attire accompanying the suit was a black cape that draped over one shoulder with a golden clasp holding it there before finally the belt my realms symbol. I thanked her before she ran off to continue cleaning my room.
I walked lazily through the halls of the palace to get to the rounded porch we often used to teleport from. But I turned the corner and bumped right into my youngest sister, Lysandra.
"Shit sorry Lysandra." I tilted my head down to make sure she was alright before needing to ask, "Are you alright?" She looked up at me and gave me a weak smile, her bluish hair sticking to her face where there once was tears. "Yeah I'm fine, sorry for bumping into you Caspian."
I looked down the hall and noted she had probably come from speaking to father. I smiled at her and ruffed her hair to which she groaned and rolled her eyes. I gave her a wave as a goodbye and she returned it with a silly face. Now I rolled my eyes before continuing to walk towards duties I didn't want.
We teleported over with ease. Apparently Dreuton was hosting as I turned to look behind me and saw many other floating islands accompanying the one father and I stood on. Dragons flew in the distance, probably untamed as well. I fell into step with my father as we entered the castle before us.
Priyca's Warlock and champion had already arrived it seemed. The two women made their way over and greeted us. Priyca's Warlock, Elowen Yearwood, was the definition of beauty; she had honey brown hair that reached her ankles unless it was tied up, her skin was forever clear, and her voice was soft and magnetic. She ruled one of the five realms of the wizard world, in fact her realm bordered ours.
Priyca's champion on the other hand had a stern look to her. She looked as though she trudged through sludge and sewage just to be here. If I had never been to Priyca I would suspect it to be a horrible place, however, I have been to Priyca on many occasions. The realm is undeniably stunning, probably due to its population being mostly fairies and magical creatures such as unicorns.
