Personality: Noah is a very outspoken and helpful person, ever since he was young. He was always the first to volunteer to help with anything at all. He's the kind of person who will jump into action if something is wrong. With this, however, he doesn't always take care of himself because he's so focused on helping others. He's pretty stubborn when it comes to people telling him to slow down and take a break.
Background: Noah grew up in a hardworking middle class family. His father, Robert, was a school principal, while his mother, Sherry, was a veterinarian. He always saw how people would walk up to them and thank them for helping either take care of their pets or help their kids. He was taught from a young age to always be a kind person and treat others how you want to be treated.
One night, when he was 8 years old, a house fire occurred in his childhood home. He woke up to the smell of smoke, trapped in his bedroom. Firefighters were able to come and save him and his family in the nick of time, but the house was a total loss. The local fire department really stepped up to help them, provided them with meals while they looked for a new place and offered to watch Noah when his parents had to work past when he was in school. This inspired Noah to want to become an EMT/paramedic. He gets a rush from saving people's lives, especially helping kids since it reminds him of when he was saved.
Likes: Dalmations- The firestation follows the stereotype. They have a dalmatian named Dot, she serves as an emotional support animal for the firefighters and paramedics, as well as the people who come through
Coffee- It's the only way to get through those overnight shifts. Plus it's a little treat for himself since he doesn't so a whole lot of sugar.
Running- Noah likes to run as a way to exercise, as well as take routes that take him to places around the city he hasn't explored before.
Dislikes: Smoking- He doesn't understand how someone can ruin their lungs and consume smoke.
Snowstorms- There's a huge increase in motor accidents, many of which are fatal. He doesn't like being able to not do anything to save someone.
Tight spaces- It reminds him of being trapped during the fire as a kid. It's not enough to be claustrophobia, but enough for him to feel uncomfortable.
