TW: Foster care and mention of abuse 

I don't know how foster care works so if anything is wrong PLEASE correct me, if you aren't in a safe house please get help ik it'll be worse but trust me it'll get better! 

Will and Nico have always wanted a family. So what do they do as soon as they can foster? They started the process of it! Yes it was hard and countless nights of them having no clue what they're doing but hey! That's part of the fun! (right?)

"Will!....Will!.....Babe!! We got the call!" Nico exclaimed to his husband running down the stairs.

"We did?" Will asked.

"We did!" Nico said jumping up and down. 

"Oh gods, what do we know?" Will asked Nico.

"She's 13,coming from a toxic family especially from the mom, being mentally abused,nothing physical but very much mental and emotional, she has depression and anxiety." Nico told him.

Will was shocked hearing the bare minimum of what happened to this poor girl, "Dam" He whispered.

"Yeah..." Nico sighed shaking his head.

"When will she be here?" Will asked.

"In a few hours so we need to get ready." Nico told him.

*Few hours later*

Nico and Will stood outside they're house waiting for this girl to show up. They saw a black Tesla pull up with the case worker and the girl. 

"Nico, Will, this is Mackenzie. Mackenzie can you get your stuff?" The women told the girl.

She nodded and walked to the car and pulled out a purple backpack. 

"As you two know this is her first time in the system so she's a bit shuken up but she's really sweet when you get to know her, Mackenzie this is Nico" She said pointing to Nico.

"And this is Will" She said pointing to Will.

Mackenzie gave them a small nod and walked up the grey poarch steps.

"Well I'm off, call if anything happens." The women said walking away.

"Hi, I'm Nico and this is my husband Will, how about we get inside and we will give you a tour?" Nico asked.

"Sure" Mackenzie nodded.

"Do you go by a different name at all that the social worker didn't tell us?" Will asked.

"No, Mackenzie is fine" She told them.

As they continued to give Mackenzie a tour of their house they learned that she likes theater and music. 

"Does Pizza sound okay for dinner?" Nico asked Mackenzie walking into her room.

"Yeah that's fine, thank you." She told him.

*A couple of Weeks later*

It's been kinda weird having a kid around for Will and Nico. It used to be the two of them to now having Mackenzie with them. They sorta know what happened to her, her mom very toxic to her but never to her younger siblings, she sorta become the third parent because her dad was either at work or sleeping away. Her mom wasn't supportive of her being Pansexual or having really bad mental health. 

It's been hard for her but she's slowly adjusting and healing.

"I'm headed out!" Nico called out.

"Bye!" Mackenzie called getting ready for school.

"Bye Babe! Love you!" Will yelled.

Yeah, they're probably gonna adopt her.

Hey y'all! So I was just thinking abt what I should write bc ik I need to, and my head was like "why not take on of ur daydreams and right abt it?" So I did! I'm not in foster care and never have so please if you have and like to correct me! I think my mom MIGHT be toxic (my friends AND multiple quizes and say she is) but who knows its fine guys if she i always have Iowa (inside joke between my friend and I) but fr its fine i always have my head to live in. also while writing this I kept jamming to Conan (love u!) (if u don't know who he is what's wrong with u?) so it took my forever to write. that's it loves see you next times!
