Invitation is the lead title track from the band's fourth extended play, with all tracks written by Candice Pillay and Troy Johnson. The song was released as a single on September 22, 2017, a few days before the EP was released on their anniversary. Its music video was then released a month later in October on the 6th of 2017, directed by Éli Sokhn, who also directed the band's music for "8 Letters". The song (Invitation) was for the fans, (known as Limelights) who came into the band's lives.

Mr. Park filled us all in on the big news, which, of course, I already knew since the CEO had given me the heads-up. He kept throwing these suspicious glances my way, making it clear he'd be grilling me about it later.
Everyone was shocked by the sudden announcement. Both Jake and Jay were worried and upset that all our hard work would be handed over to the other group, leaving us with their project. Honestly, I'm not sure how they managed to mess up so much.
As soon as Mr. Park left to meet Ms. Kim, and the other team's head about the campaign handover, everyone turned to me, scooting their chairs closer like they were ready for a big reveal.
I gulped at the sight of everyone looking so serious. Kazuha leaned in, all eyes on me, with Hanni squinting curiously.
"So... spill the beans!" Kazuha said, breaking the silence, and Jake jumped in right after, asking if the CEO's call had anything to do with the announcement.
"Why did the CEO call you? Was it about the announcement?" Jake asked, his curiosity obviously outweighing his earlier frustration.
I didn't mind sharing some of what went down, but there was no way I was bringing up the proposal or Mr. Park's impending exit—way too soon for that. I'm pretty sure they'd support me, but it's just not the right time to mention it.
"Oh, Ms. Kang just wanted an update on the status of our campaign," I said with a shrug, trying to keep it casual.
"Hmm... but why you and not Mr. Park?"
Honestly, I was stumped for a way to answer without spilling Haerin's plans. Luckily, Hanni jumped in to save me. "I wouldn't be surprised if the CEO called Dani. We all know Mr. Park wouldn't have been able to answer accurately. Plus, the CEO seems sharp; she probably figured it out." I nodded in agreement, signaling that Hanni was spot on, which was actually the truth.
I glanced at Hanni, who shot me a look that screamed, You better tell me everything soon.
"Made sense," they all agreed, nodding before heading back to their desks except for Kazuha.
"Are you sure that's all it was?" She raised an eyebrow, eyeing me closely. "Feels like there's something else going on."
I tried to keep a straight face as I gave her a nod, reaching for my water bottle, my throat feeling dry from the stress of keeping it together.
She finally went back to her working desk. "Boring. I thought there was something spicy going on between you two," Kazuha said, sighing dramatically, clearly hoping for something more entertaining. I almost choked on my water. Knowing Kazuha, she'd been expecting some juicy office gossip.
"Where did that even come from? You might've forgotten, Dani has a boyfriend," Hanni said, clearly baffled by Kazuha's imagination. The Japanese woman just pouted.
"You've been reading way too many romance novels," Jay laughed, smirking. The others joined in, chuckling, blissfully unaware of the way Kazuha's comment had my heart racing.
