"Hey Rach! I have something to tell you!" my mom says as she runs into my room, popping the door opening.
"I'm listening, mom"
"So it's been a while since I've gotten together with a guy so um..I got together with someone and we're going on a vacation together.
"Wha-t and you didn't tell me?" I teased as I glared at her playfully.
"I'm sorry.."
"It's okay haha, we'll have fun."
"Yep so I've talked with him about letting you stay over while we're on vacation"
I stared at her wide eyed.
"WHAT"
"Is it okay with you?"
"No!"
"Why, Rach, please just this once. Do it for me please."
"But why? I can take care of myself. I'm 15, mom."
"I know that. It's just- just that I want you to interact with your future siblings."
"Mom, can we talk about that later?"
"Just promise me you'll stay over."
"Mo-"
"Please?"
I looked at her.
"Just this time."
"Yep this one time!"
She hugged me. She did look really happy though.
