Black and White stock close behind the stranger helping Lucario to the Pokemon Center. "Why are you doing this?" Lucario mumbled. The man shushed him.

"Save your strength friend, we're almost to the Pokemon Center," the man said. They keep walking when suddenly Lucario stops. The sensors on the back of his head rise up and start vibrating.

Then stop and fall back down. He turned around to see Black and White. "Lucario, is something wrong?" the man asked turning around.

"Hey, who are you?!" he said. Black and White put their hands up as if they were caught be the police. Lucario put his paw on the mans shoulder.

"It's okay, I know them, they helped rescue me," Lucario explained. The man smiled.

"Then who are your friends?" he asked.

"I'm White, I'm a Pokemon trainer," said White.

"I'm Black, I'm a Pokemon trainer, too," Black said.

"I'm N," the man replied, "did you say Pokemon trainer?" Black and White nodded. N looked down and clenched his fists.

"Then you can't be trusted," N growled. He turned and started walking toward the Pokemon Center, dragging Lucario with him. Lucario wriggled free from N's grip.

"N, I know you don't like Pokemon trainers, but White and Black you can trust," Lucario said. N nodded then they all went to the Pokemon Center. When they got there Lucario collapsed from exhaustion.

"Lucario!" N panicked. Black helped N rush Lucario into the building, White following.

"Oh my, is this your Lucario?" Nurse Joy asked. N, Black, and White shook their heads. Nurse Joy called for a stretcher and when it arrived rolled Lucario into the healing center.

They sat down at a table to wait. N kept looking over at the healing center. Black broke the silence.

"So, what is the big deal with you and Pokemon trainers?" he asked. N turned his head.

"Huh, oh, I just can't stand the thought of people forcing their friends to battle," he said. Black and White's eyes widen then they looked down at the table.

"I guess I've never thought of it like that," White said. Black agreed and they both apologized.

"It's okay, not all trainers are bad," N said. White stood up furiously, her fists clenched.

"N, tell me this," she said, slowly looking up, "do my Pokemon hate me?" She starts to cry, sending out her Pokemon. N was stunded by the way she reacted.

Her Pokemon saw her crying and were clearly concerned for their trainer. N stood up and walked over towards White. Her Pokemon formed a protective circle around her, snarling at him.

"It seems they like you very much, White," N chuckled. White looked up, wiped the tears from her face and gave her Pokemon a large group hug.

"Thank you, N," she said. She returned her Pokemon and sat back down. Black got the same treatment and same answer.

They heard the tone that meant Lucario was better and the doors swung open. Lucario was sitting on the end of the stretcher and was rolled right next to where everyone was sitting. Lucario hopped off the stretcher, he had his right arm wrapped in a bandage.

"Lucario is very healthy, just a little rest should heal that arm nicely," said Nurse Joy. Lucario nodded.

"Thank you for your help mis," Lucario said, in a polite manner.

"Your welcome, what a gentlemen," Nurse Joy replied. Then she walked back to the counter. But it turns out the bandits didn't give up.

The power suddenly went out and the Pokemon Center was pitch black.
