The One Lucario

Chapter 5 Snap out of it!

Colress walked over to the machine and turned it on. He typed away at the glowing blue keyboard. "Aiming, now locked on target," he said, continuing to type on the keyboard, "and.... fire!"

He pushed a large button on the keyboard and a beam of blue light shot out, hitting the object on Lucario's head. Lucario screamed in pain and gripped his head tightly. Colress began to laugh maniacally as he watched the machine take over Lucario.

"Lucario, no!" White shouted. She started ramming against the bars. Black and N joined in.

"Lucario, you must not submit to their control!" N grunted, putting all of his strength against the bars. Lucario screamed again but this time much louder.

"Yeah, Lucario, ignore the machine, fight it!" Black shouted. Lucario screamed once more. But then hunched over and started to pant loudly.

N, Black, and White kept pushing against the bars, but they soon realized it was no use. Lucario screamed again and all went quite. Lucario's paws dropped and when he opened his eyes they were completely red.

N gasped. "No, LUCARIO!" he shouted.

"Lucario, Lucario, can you hear us?" White panicked. Lucario didn't respond.

"Ha ha, it worked! Lucario is completely under our control!" Colress exclaimed, clapping his hands. He pressed another button and glass camber holding Lucario opened. Lucario walked onto the floor.

"Now Lucario, aura sphere!" Colress said. Lucario turned his head towards N, Black, and White, nothing but rage in his eyes. Lucario aimed an aura sphere at his friends.

"Lucario, STOP!" White screamed. Lucario stopped and the aura sphere disappeared. Lucario stumbled backwards a little.

Gripping his head and screamed, sending aura waves in every direction. The aura was so strong Colress was blown to the floor. "Amazing, such power!" he exclaimed.

Lucario spun around to face Colress, his pupils were tiny and blood red. Colress took a step back. "You can't attack me, you're under my command!" Colress said, putting his hands out in front of himself.

But Lucario clearly did not hear him. Lucario's fist flared up and he charged towards Colress. Several Team Plasma members tried to restrain Lucario.

But his aura proved to strong for them and they were sent flying. Lucario flicked his head around to face Colress again. Lucario's fist blazed once more and he charged toward Colress.

Lucario missed pounding the floor making a large hole. Colress ran around and tried shutting of the machine but Lucario jumped up in front of him. Colress gulped as Lucario sent him flying into the wall.

But instead of attacking again Lucario stood there panting. N spotted the keys on one of the members belt, but it was to far to reach. N grabbed the guards ankle and dragged him close enough so he could grab the keys.

He unlocked the the cage and swung open the door. By the time he got out Lucario had Colress pinned to the wall. "Lucario, enough!" N said.

Lucario whipped his head around and dropped Colress. Lucario started walking toward N, snarling. N put his hands out in front of him and started to walk backwards.

"Lucario, listen to my voice," N said as Lucario inched closer, "you need to SNAP OUT OF IT!" Lucario stopped and everything was quite. Everyone just stared.

Lucario's eyes widened and he blinked. "N?" Lucario whispered. N fell to his knees.

"N! are you okay?" Lucario gasped helping N to his feet. N quickly wrapped his arms around Lucario. Lucario hesitated but returned the hug.

"N, what happened, all I remember is everything going dark," Lucario said. Before N could answer White and Black came charging into Lucario sending them all to the floor.

"Lucario, you're okay!" White exclaimed, tears of happiness in her eyes.

"White... can't..... breath!" Lucario peeped. White was hugging Lucario too tightly. Colress crawled toward the machine so he could stand up.

"This, this can't be possible?!" Colress huffed. Lucario stood up and bared his teeth.

"Give it Colress, you failed," Black said. Colress started to laugh.

"No, it's you who have failed," Colress said. Lucario, N, White, and Black all turned around to see the grunts and all their Pokemon. All at once the grunts ordered their Pokemon to use sleep powder.

Then everything went dark.
