I said in a hushed voice.

My hands were secretly trembling in excitement.

"Hm? Lenn did you say something?"

'Yeah I've been sensing them for a while now'

"Ah, no Mother, excuse me for a moment"

I muttered as I hurriedly went outside

"Hey wait, Where do you think you're going-?"

*SLAM

Ignoring Mother's words, I exited the moving carriage and hopped off to walk.

"Young Master, please go ba-"

"Shush! My legs are cramped so I want to walk "

As soon as I said that, I vanished

The trusted leader of the escort knights, Ken, closed his eyes and sighed deeply at Lenn's response.

He knew that Lenn was different from the usual arrogant noble children but...

Ken was murmuring, trying his best to stay calm.

It was all because, the last time that they traveled, Ken got into deep trouble because Lenn disappeared for almost 4 hours even tho he was tasked to keep an eye on him.

During the short time that he closed his eyes, Lenn was gone.

The only thing he could do now was pray that the Grand General would forgive him this time.

My reunion with my most trusted ally was cut short due to the intense hostility I sensed not far away.

I usually wouldn't intervene, seeing that they were only observing but, this time, their hostility was directed at Mother.

For the past 23 minutes or so, I have been intercepting the hostility that was being thrown at her.

I sped up and dashed through multiple alleyways, trying to locate the assailants.
