"Chaerin..." Wonwoo's voice was barely above a whisper, filled with bewilderment and shock.
She surveyed the room, her gaze landing on each man she knew seated. "I see you've all moved on without me," she remarked, her tone cold, almost calculated.
The atmosphere simmered with tension, the air thickening like smoke hanging over an empty battlefield.Fierce memories cascaded to them. For her it's the betrayal that ignited her anger more but for them it was painful but they tried not to show anyone.
S.coups crossed his arms defensively, his skepticism mounting. "You think you can walk back in after all this time? The world doesn't revolve around you, Chaerin."
An amused smile crept across her lips. "But it does, doesn't it? I'm no one's pawn anymore." She took a step toward them, her confidence weaving through the air. The scent of danger was palpable, like blood in water.
The slight frown on RM's lips indicated that he wasn't easily swayed by Han Chaerin's intimidating presence but his mind was a mess. He leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, contemplating her every word while his teammates Suga and Jin, seated next to him, exchanged wary glances.
Chaerin tossed her raven-black hair behind her shoulder and leaned forward, her voice low yet resonant. "You boys wander into my territory like you own it," she said, a smirk dancing across her lips. "Just because your connections seem large doesn't mean you're untouchable."
"Yah! Your territory? You own this? You are still the bitch i know who fucked her life relying on her friends like a dumb bitch"
"JEON JUNGKOOK"
"No hyung not today and you listen to me bitch you weren't that important so yes we moved on cause it's nothing like we harmed your family or something."
With a flick of her wrist, a flash of metal glinted in the dim light. The knife sailed through the air with deadly precision, finding its mark against the wall just inches from Jungkook's shoulder, the tip imbedding itself deep enough to signify a warning more than a mere threat.
"Enough!" RM snapped, the edge of his voice silencing Jungkook's action who was secretly taking out the daggers hidden in his safe space.
The room's heavy doors swung open and Kim yura strolled in. Her entrance was a harbinger of chaos to her cousins [Mingyu, Taehyung and Jin] and her own brother, Kim Namjoon a.k.a. RM.
[Yura and RM are siblings and Jin and Taehyung are siblings while Mingyu is a single child. Under the kim family, Yura and RM are kids of the elder Kim while Jin and Taehyung are kids of second master kim. Mingyu is the only child of young lady kim]
Back to the story,
Two bulky guards followed here inside the room dragging Jae and Sua- two lackeries of some low rival factions who had crossed Leah's path one too many times. Yura's eyes flared with an intensity that mirrored her boss's as she surveyed the room. She came in front of Chaerin bowed her saying, "Boss I found young miss. These two were the ones who sent the message"
Both Jae and Sua were struggling against the guards as Chaerin glance at them. Jae eyes narrowed as he tries to remember the women before him. "What the fuck do you want? Why did you dragged us here?"
Chaerin laughed maniacally that she cried a bit. "Fun you don't remember messing with me or should i make you remember" her eyes glinted with danger.
In a fraction of a heartbeat, the air shifted. Chaerin's hand slid to the knife tucked beneath her jacket—a familiar weight that felt both like comfort and menace. A flicker of vulnerability appeared in Jae's face, a momentary lapse of dominance that Chaerin seized. Without a sound, she plunged the knife deep into Jae's side. He gasped, shock clouding his features as he crumpled to the ground. He was still breathing just not dead yet.
"Take them to the dungeon" She ordered the guards.
"Y-Yura..." Taehyung's voice broke the silence, echoing the heartache that hung heavily in the air. Did they think they could save her? Perhaps that's how they saw it, but she had chosen her side long ago.
Chaerin stepped forward, her presence asserting dominance. "She made her choice," she remarked, an unsettling smile creeping across her lips.
"What are you doing, Yura?" he asked, incredulity lacing his tone. "You're not suppose to be a part of this!"
"I am exactly what I've always needed to be," Yura declared, steel in her voice. Jin's heart sank. This was the sister they had protected, but now she stood defiantly, unrecognizable under the weight of this dark's influence.
"If the family time is over, we should get going Yura" Chaerin said as she walked towards the door exiting the bar not before glancing at a very specific SVT member.
