That's when he heard a cough, he struggles to look up as he saw a human found its way into his battle.
"A-ard you alright?" He asked in concern despite being badly wounded himself he didn't hesitate to ask his wellbeing even if he's not a human himself.
"How did a human found its way here...?"
"I don't know myself and I don't care if I'll die as long as I can save everyone, that includes you." He then tried to lift up the shadowy man despite being small due to the shadowy man's stature.
"I ask of you, what do you seek?"
"Power... But not for me but power to keep my allies alive and complete our goal of saving humanity."
"What is your name human?"
"My name is Iska Nebuligate I'm just a weak human who found himself in a unbelievable situations... If I may ask um... Mister...?"
"My name ... Is Ashborn the Shadow Monarch, no need to lie were both gravely injured... To heal and save ourselves... You must promise me this..." The man now named Ashborn stared at Iska as Iska still supporting Ashborn in his shoulder stared back at him, but with a determined face.
"If I choose you as my Avatar... Do you promise to use my powers not for selfish goals but for the good?"
Iska grunted as he nods at Ashborn.
"To be honest I didn't expect for you to be this trusting and also smart enough to know I'm gravely Injured... But I accept your offer... It's not like I could even use it for myself when humanity is extinct anyway..."
"As the Monarch of Shadows I bestow you upon my Title and my powers... As I enter eternal slumber to heal... I grant you access to my 10,000 Shadow army at my command and the Shadow army you will collect in the future so repeat after me.
Ashborn then raised his right arm as Iska raised his left

Author Kun: it's been a while since I wrote this, I'm just stopping by to write what I always envision how Iska meets Ashborn not gonna lie Ashborn could have healed his injuries easily but for plot sake it didn't.
