Ch-09.

Vernon thought of the therapy he learnt from his friend. He knew she was having panic attack. It was because mention of her parents which died.. He wanted to divert her mind.

" Y-You know Harin your cookies were very tasty, can you tell me ingredients? Hmm?" He asked to distract her. She looked at him puffy teary eyes.

" F-flour, sugar, b-baking powder, baking soda, butter, vanilla a-and Choco chips" she said looking at him. Vernon nodded as he smiled slightly. His Mom smiled through tears seeing his son smile after many years even if slightly.

" What's the next step?" He asked to make her more calm.

" You have to Mix all perfectly. Make a dough, then give cookie shape and add choco chips Then bake for 8-15 minutes" she said calming down.

"Very nice. Will you make for me too Harina" asked his mom.

"Yessh." She said in cute voice.

"Harin have some water" said Sofia giving her glass which Vernon took and fed Harin slowly as she was sipping like a baby.

"Are you okay now?" Asked Sofia.

"Huh?" Harin realised she was on vernon's lap, he was holding her, his big hands wrapped around her protectively, she noticed her hand on his arm she removed quickly. Her cheeks heated, she didn't know what to do. She got so embarrassed as they saw her in that state. She covered her face in her palms out of embarrassment and sniffled.

"S-sorry. I didn't know this would happen. I'm really sorry. I-I'll just go from here. P-put me down, p-please" she said getting scared.
Vernon gently put her down.

" Harinaa.. baby don't say sorry. We're sorry for making you sad."
His Mom said and Sofia too nodded.

" No. You didn't know about it. It's okay."she said but her feet stumbled and she held her head. Sofia helped her holding her shoulder.

"M-my head hurts" she said in shaky voice.

" You need rest. Sofia take her to your room." He said and Sofia nodded.

" But Oppa will be worried." said Harin.

" Give your phone, I'll tell him don't worry. " His Mom said.

" Okay" said Harin tiredly.
Sofia took her to her room and made her sit on the bed.

"Yayy! We'll be having fun tonight. Bestie goals" said Sofia lighting up her mood. Harin was still fidgeting in her place embarrassed of what happened. But still smiled for her friend.
There was knock on door, there stood Vernon awkwardly.

"I am going. Uhm, take care and don't overthink, it happens." He said. Sofia smiled at his brother's caring behaviour towards Harin. Harin was not looking in his eyes, she was looking at the floor and nodded then Vernon left before looking at her for brief moment.

" Hey~ are you embarrassed? Don't be please we're really sorry." Said Sofia giving her comfort hug.

" A-actually I am scared. Y-your brother going to be angry right? He never allows anyone near him and I-I was-" she stuttered her face red. Sofia laughed softly as she pouted and hide her face with pillow.

"It was comfortable hmm~~" she teased Harin to which Harin threw the pillow at her but she Dodged it.

" Shut up.. I thought he'll shout at me but he didn't even reacted. I can't remember what happened." She said confused, again holding her head in pain.

"You just rest now. I'll tell you tomorrow. You are already tired" Harin nodded as Sofia tugged her in bedsheet. She quickly fell asleep in few minutes.
