Chapter 14

Third Person's POV

Back in the Philippines

Jerrylyn was the first to wake up. She kisses Ashley's cheeks who's still soundly asleep. She moves a little but the younger girl's peck wasn't deep enough to wake her up.

Ashley was still lying on her own bed in her condo, with just her comforter embracing her whole body.

After Jerrylyn wrapped around her own bathrobe and secured its ties, she grabs Ahsley's and hangs it on the chair near the bed.

This is so Ashley can easily get and wear it upon waking up.

She then proceeds to cook breakfast for her. Bacon and eggs.

Eggs are specifically cooked as omelette with chopped veggies, small enough for Ashley's palate to accept.

She doesn't like vegetables, but Jerrylyn knows everyone needs a well-balanced meal, even just once a day.

When she's done, she took a shower. Good thing, she already have clothes hidden in Ashley's closet. Specifically placed there, in times like this.

She placed a note before leaving.

Ashley's meeting is still in the afternoon, while Jerryln's workload needed to be finished before lunch time.

She didn't bother waking her up with another goodbye kiss.

She stares at her beauty while these beautiful expressive eyes, are still closed. She smiles but then quickly changes her smile into a dark and meaningful smirk. "haha...Malapit na..." She uttered in an almost whispering voice.

Then she left.

When Ashley has waken up by her alarm clock, while her eyes are still close, she roamed her left side of the bed using her hands to check if her girlfriend was still there. But it was to no avail.

She sits up and stretches her arms.. "Ahhhh..... I had a wonderful sleep. Thanks to my hon." She smiles while recalling the romantic scenes that took place between the two of them.

She hides in her blanket, she can still smell her Lanvin luxury perfume that she gifted her.

"Haiissstt.. kelan ba kasi kami magiging out.. I mean, happy naman ako when we are together. There's also a thrill in hiding, pero for someone like me who likes to tell the world about anything and everything that makes my heart flutter, ang hirap na ng ganito.. haaaii" She said loudly to herself while letting out a deep sigh.

She looks at her bathrobe near her. She knows na si Jerrylyn ang naglagay nun para madali na siyang makapagbihis.

She saw the breakfast on the table prepared by her girlfriend. She smiles and automatically looks for the usual sticky notes her partner leaves out for her.

She likes these little sweet nothings that she does for her.

She feels loved. A different kind of love. Yung walang pressure.

Unlike how her parents shows itto her. Oo, she's wise enough to see the difference naman of how she's loved more than that of her younger sister, Sky.

Pero alam din naman niyang, all of those are deeply rooted sa pressure na, siya ang susunod sa yapak ng mga magulang niya in taking over the company.

But it is the sight of Sky, that reminds her of knowing her real place. Alam niyang kahit mas matanda siya, si Sky pa rin ang legal na anak, not until Skylar's mother passed away and her parents finally was able to legally tied a knot.
