A story in which Lingling is a Facebook addict and she becomes infatuated with a girl she saw online. (With a twist)
-
After playing Crossfire, Lingling immediately shifts to Facebook. She was scrolling through her newsfeed when she saw a picture shared by one of her Facebook friends. Bored, she went to the girl's profile and stalked her. She found her attractive, so she sent her a friend request. It took almost an hour before it got accepted. She smiled when they became mutuals, so she chatted her.
L: Hi, thanks for confirming my friend request. :)
P: Hello, no problem. :)
L: What's your name?
P: It's Prigkhing. Can't you see my name? It's right there at the top of the chatbox.
L: I'm sorry. A lot of people use fake names. Where are you from?"
P: I'm from Nova City, but we've been living in Zion now. But I still have a lot of relatives there.
L: Oh, I'm from Nova City too. Where are you located in Nova?
They've been chatting for almost an hour now. They became quite comfortable with each other, laughing and joking as they talked in the chatbox.
P: You should join our Facebook group! You'll meet a lot of nice people there.
L: What kind of group is it?
P: It's a group of people who are all Facebook famous. We do daily polls to vote on who's the prettiest, and we post the weekly winner. I'm one of the admins, actually, and I created the group.
L: Is there a prize for the winner?
P: The prize for the winner is becoming famous. Everyone in the group will know them, and they'll be the group's muse. You should join!
L: You can join the group even if you don't want to participate in the poll? Can I just vote?
P: Yes, you can. So, will you join? You never know, you might find a lovelife there. Hahaha!
L: To be honest, I already found one.
P: Oh, you're already taken? That's okay, you can still join the group!
L: I'm talking to her right now. ;)
P: Hahaha, who are you referring to?
L: You.
P: Me? So you're a lesbian?
L: I'm Bi.
P: Ah, I get it. I have a lot of friends who are bisexual. Anyway, check your account; I've added you to the group.
Their chats have become frequent, almost daily. They chat almost every minute, only stopping when they eat, but they quickly resume. They don't have a label, but they have a mutual understanding, and Lingling is happy with this, always chatting with Prig, which inspires her daily. She's also been more active on Facebook, posting pictures and status updates, while Prig likes all of her posts.
Their interaction is limited to chats because the sea separates them; they live in different cities. They also have pet names for each other.
L: Have you eaten yet?
P: Not yet, Moochie. I have a fever.
L: Take your medicine and go to sleep early.
P: But I still want to chat with you.
Their talking stage has lasted almost a month now. Prig is a sweet and clingy girl. She also likes sending Lingling emojis, and tells her everything that's happening in her life, making Lingling like her even more.
