She's from a Chinese background, her mother was the Chinese one, sold off to her Japanese Father who was not a kind man. And her mother gave birth to her with spite, both of her parents hated her for even existing. And she was raised believing that she was a burden, and that she didn't deserve a name. As they never gave her one in hopes their abuse would kill her off soon anyways.
Her Mother was raised to be sold off, Tsukiko would never learn her parents names. Not one bit. But she would be taught Chinese, well, she taught herself. Since that's what her mother mainly spoke anyways.
And her Father, was different. Just a cruel samurai who only wanted a sex doll. That's all he bought her Mother for, he never expected to end up with a child though. It was an evil man, no remorse, would end up beating his own wife to death one night, drunken and in front of a child nonetheless.
He would end up doing far worse.
She would end up creating her own breath, a branch from Tengen's.
