Yami walked through the dense forest, her shiny Pokémon trailing beside her. Kumo, the shiny Ekans, was lazily draped around her shoulders, barely noticing the world around him. His half-lidded eyes reflected his usual disinterest. "Ekans..." he muttered under his breath, letting out a long, bored sigh.

Crimson, the shiny Charmander, strutted ahead with an air of arrogance, his tail blazing with bright, flickering fire. "Charmander!" he grumbled, clearly not content with being behind, as if the path ahead should already belong to him. His flame flickered higher as he puffed out his chest, walking with a certain cocky swagger.

Raze, the freshly caught shiny Pinsir, walked beside Yami with calculated precision, his serious, focused gaze scanning the area for any potential threats. His powerful legs and sharp claws twitched occasionally, a reminder that he was still testing Yami's leadership. "Pinsir," he muttered softly, his tone stern and cautious. He wasn't sure about his new trainer yet, but he was patient.

Suddenly, there was a rustling from behind a nearby bush. Yami froze, signaling for her Pokémon to do the same. Crimson flicked his tail, irritation clear in his movements. "Charmander," he whispered in a low growl, clearly displeased by the interruption.

Kumo, still coiled lazily around her neck, shifted a little. "Ekans..." His tone wasn't even fully awake, but he was curious nonetheless.

Out of the underbrush stumbled a small, injured shiny Nidoran. The Pokémon's legs were shaky, its body showing signs of damage. The creature looked weak but stubborn, eyes filled with defiance as it attempted to flee from whatever had injured it. However, its condition was clearly limiting its movement.

"Ekans?" Kumo asked, his voice more alert now. *What's this?*

Crimson, seeing the injured Nidoran, stepped forward with a proud stance. His chest puffed out and his tail flame flared. "Charmander!" he called out, snapping his claws in the air. He was ready to show off his strength, no matter the situation. *I'll show this runt who's in charge.*

But the Nidoran had other ideas. It let out a sharp, defensive cry and attempted to attack with its horn, using the move **Peck**. It was weak, but desperate. The attack was clumsy, and it barely reached Crimson before he dodged with ease.

"Charmander!" Crimson hissed, flicking his tail in irritation as he retaliated, using **Growl** to lower the Nidoran's attack. The sound of his growl echoed through the clearing, and the Nidoran winced at the sudden decrease in its own strength. Crimson was making his presence known.

Raze, still watching from a distance, narrowed his eyes. "Pinsir," he muttered under his breath, assessing the situation. *This Pokémon is strong, but it's injured. It won't last long if it keeps fighting like this.*

But the Nidoran wasn't giving up. It shot a **Leer** at Crimson, lowering his defense, before attempting another **Peck**. This time, it was a little more forceful, but still far too slow to hit the quick Charmander.
