Chapter #14 (A Strange Sighting)

Hours have passed after the appearance of a strange, metal "dragon", all of the students were ordered to be in their dorms for the time being while then King deployed his best knights, mages and dragons guarding the academy. You find yourself back in the Red Team's dorm room with Akko and her friends discussing about the incident earlier.

Akko: So... do you guys think it's a new kind of dragon?

Sucy: Impossible, I've managed to get a good look of it but only for a brief moment. It flies way too fast...

Lotte: You think it could be the work of... humans?

Akko: Hah?! There's no way those stupid humans would have such thing!... Right?

Sucy: Obviously. Besides, those pesky humans would rather die than use any kind of "blasphemous sorcery" that we plagued this world with. Don't you agree, Chris?

You didn't responded as your mind is still thinking about the jet's sudden appearance.

Sucy: Chris?

Christian: (Snaps back) Huh? What?

Sucy: You been staring blankly lately. Something on your mind?

Christian: Oh yeah, it's that flying figure. Kinda new to me so I was you know... flabbergasted by its appearance.

Akko: That goes for all of us, I even heard that the King even saw it only at a distance.

Lotte: And the way it looks, I don't even think it's alive... its wings are not even flapping yet it flies with such incredible speed...

Christian: Hey, what matter is that its finally gone. Let's just hope it won't bother us again.

Sucy: I hope so...

Meanwhile, back on Earth. The jet finally landed back to the airfield with the pilot named "Air Raid" coming out of the cockpit as several higher ranking officers approached him.

General: Did you manage to capture some photos inside the portal?

Air Raid: Yes sir, and I I have recorded my feed on it as you told me to.

General: Have you encountered any hostiles on your flight?

Air Raid: No sir, although I advise for you to watch the feed.

General: And why are you telling me this?

Air Raid: Trust me, you're gonna love what you're going to see.

Hours passed as the higher ups watch the footage captured by Air Raid, all of them cannot comprehend what they are seeing right now. Dragons, giants, floating castles and most importantly, people using magic.

General: (Shocked) This is... this is unlike we have seen before...

President: (Shocked) Gentlemen, it appears we have discovered a parallel world right in our doorstep...
