End of the Night

(Y/N's pov)
(Location: Davidson estate (Backyard))

I was still at the party trying to have some fun. I was planning on going home earlier but Chaz, being the friend he is, insisted I stayed. You know, getting me outta my comfort zone. He and I have been hanging out for most of the party. especially since Ophelia and Robert Left, it was awesome to have some opportunities to hang, especially since I'm leaving soon.

I was at the Poolside Bar getting a Grape soda while Chaz was about to go on the high dive. Everyone else was chanting his name while some, including me; were filming him.

Chaz: "Are You Ready?!"

Everyone cheers louder for him. He prepares himself for the jump into the pool.

Chaz: "Alright. 3...2...1...CANNONBALL!!!"

He jumps off the board and lands into the pool, making a huge splash that got to those who were standing close to the pool's deep end. He emerges from the water as people kept cheering him on. Classic Chad, always knowing how to please a crowd.

(A few hours later)

It was 2 in the morning, man this party has gone on longer than I thought, and it seems like it's not gonna be ending for at least another hour and a half. I was getting tired so I sat on the patio couch and played some Street Fighter on the PlayStation against the other party goers. Things were going along smoothly for the first few rounds until everyone's phones Buzzed. We all checked to see an Amber alert in effect. I read the alert with full caution.

Me: "Due to a recent break in at the Long cry Prison leading to a break out of all most dangerous inmates, The Mayor of Nicto City ask for everyone to return home as soon as possible...oh god."

I look around to see everyone else staring at their phones in fear. Immediately everyone begin to book it out to the Drive way and get in their cars to get home. It was chaos. Students were bumping into each other and tripping while gathering their things. I look around to see where Chaz was, only to see that he vanished.

I didn't like this at all. I didn't want to leave without saying a goodbye or a thank you, but I need to get home asap. As I was about to leave, Timothy meets me by the front gate.

Tim: "Master Charles had asked me to drive you home, young Y/N."

Me: "He did? Well, tell him I said thanks."

I immediately hop into the back of Chaz's limo and Timothy drives me back to my apartment.

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Why now? How did so many of Nicto's worst manage to break outta Long Cry so easily? This doesn't make any sense since Long Cry never had to deal with anything like this.

I make it to my computer and begin hacking into the prison's Security footage to see what had happened. And as I was surveying the Cameras, I see them. Death...of course they had something to do with this. Who else would have been able to get past all of the security with ease. Now why the hell would they break all of them out. I switch to the footage of the front camera to see all the villains gathered around the parking lot.

Death: "Alright, so, you were all freed out of the generosity of Mr. Vienna. And as a token of thanks, he expects you all to meet him at the warehouse at the docks by tonight."

Chainmail: "I suppose so, we do owe him."

Road Hog: "eh, I got nothing better to do."

Tantrum: "But dock stinky though! Mes doesn't want to go!"

Death: "Shut it you big baby! You are to report to the docks by tonight! Immediately!"

Death than disappears into the shadows again, possibly to the docks. This was recorded a few hours ago...Damn it I knew I should have stayed vigilant and kept tabs on them, now they slipped through my fingers again. But now I know some more info: Death is working for Vienna, and by Proxy Vienna is working on something major if he is putting together this ensemble of Bad guys.

I do some more digging and came to a shocking discovery: Death's Attack on Long Cry happened not too long after that girl left. Not only that but she got a call to leave immediately after I kicked Robert out of the party. So far I came to this conclusion: Robert is Death and Ophelia is an accomplice.

Makes sense seeing that Death seems to be doing Vienna's bidding and Robert was no where to be seen at the time. Also he matches the body type of death, so there is that. Not to mention that Death's motives revolve around Fucking with Y/N, and Robert is, in fact, a huge dick to him. It all aligns up.

Though, where would Ophelia fit in all of this? Could she have been working from the back seats and disabling the security systems? No, since the entire attack was recorded. Could she have been a distraction? No because there is no instance of guards coming to check something out. I was still trying to figure it out when I came to a new, even darker, conclusion: Ophelia could have been another victim. I didn't want to think of it but the reality is there. She could have been killed, considering that Robert also didn't like her as she was coddling Y/N. I sigh and run my hands through my hair. How am I gonna tell him?
