"Care to explain what happened?" Rainstar prompted
"I took the kits outisde of camp- and they met a kittypet. Fernblaze came, he thought that they were his." Dawnpurr refused to face Rainstar has she spoke.
"And weres heatherkit?" Rainstar tilted his head
"Gone." Dawnpurr growled slighlty
"How so?" Rainstar seemed to ingore the fact that his grandchild was dead
"..." Dawnpurr did not speak
"Tell me" Rainstar rasied his voice
"I- Fernblaze killed them."
The lie sot of dawnpuurs mouth, she was unable to protest,as Rainstar marched out of the den
Dawnpurr followed, looking at the ground, Firekit and Songkit and firekit were huddled around Featherrain.
"Fernblaze!!" Rainstar yowled, sending a wave of shock through the camp.
Fernblaze walked, A smug look on his face.
"Yes?"
Rainstar slashed Fernblazes muzzle, Streamroar came dashing up, hissing.
"Stop! what did he do-?" Streamroar hissed
"I will call the clan togather."
"Oakclan! gather around"
Cats gathered around, Jayhaze shot Dawnpurr a worried look/
Once the cats were seated, Rainstar began
"A warrior of ours has commited the most lowful crime a cat can commit, killing kits. and who is that warrior?"
"Fernblaze, step forward."
Once again, a smug look lay on Fernblazes face.

Before Fernblaze could react, Rainstar slashed his hind leg, leaving a deep wound
Fernblaze yowled.
Fernblaze looked over to Dawnpurr, and this time Dawnpurr had the sumg look.
