Boy bestfriend

Intro

I wake up in his arms. It's early, 5 am, and i turn away from josh to get more comfortable, because my side was going numb from sleeping like that. Josh grabs my waist and pulls me close to him

"where are you going ellie?" he asks, his voice raspy and tired, as he tightens his hold around me.

I get butterflies from feeling his strong, warm arms around me.

"Nowhere, go back to sleep" I tell him

"I love you ellie, don't ever leave me" he says

It's moments like this when I get a feeling like maybe he sees me as more than a best friend. Maybe my feelings for him weren't one-sided, but these things I can only hope. I would never tell him how I really feel about him, because I couldn't bare loosing him as my best friend.

" I love you too" I tell him.

He nuzzles his head into my neck, and we both drift off to sleep.

A few hours later it's morning and I get up to leave. I am slow and quiet tip towing to his door, and shutting it quietly. I wanted to have some time to finish my homework before the party at ashton's tonight.

I get a text from my friend lauren about our plans for tonight.

LAUREN: still coming over at 7 right girl???

ME: Yesss bitch i'll c u there! ❤️

I grab my makeup, outfit, and bag, and drive over to lauren's house. Pulling into her driveway I get a call from Josh.

"Are you just waking up?" I ask, seeing him still in bed.

"Yeah I kinda lost track of time. are you going to ashton's tonight? " He asked.

Im at laurens right now. We're getting ready here and will be at the party around nine." I told him.

"Good. You know I wouldn't bother going if you weren't." He smiled.

I moved my camera so he couldn't see I was blushing. He has no idea the affect he has on me, especially when he says things like this.

"Okay I gotta go, I'll see u at nine" i say

"Okay, I love you ellie." He says

"Love you too." I answer.

I go inside lauren's and run up to her room, where she is sitting in front of her vanity curling her hair. She smiles at me as I walk in, and opens her mouth to speak, but i interrupt her.

"I think I like josh. Like really like like Josh." I tell her

Her eyes lit up. she turned around and clapped slowly.

"Finally you admit it" she squeals. "Everyone in the group knows that, and now you can finally do something about it. Tonight. I demand you to finally make your move. you guys are meant for eachother and everyone knows it." She says excitedly.

I sighed. "But it will make things weird, and you know how he is with girls. He's never serious and only likes to have fun, no strings attached."

"Girl." she glares at me. "You're different to him. I know it, you know it, we all know it. He likes you and tonight you're going to do something about it."

"let's just finish getting ready and see how the night goes." and answer

She smiles at me, and turns back to doing her hair.

I go to the bathroom to change. I put on a tight, very short red dress, with black lace. I straighten my curls, and do a light makeup look. Finishing with putting on my signature coconut vanilla perfume.

"Babes, we look so hot." lauren says as we stand in front of her mirror. She starts posing like she is in a photoshoot and I laugh.

" Now let's get the hell outta here and go get drunk!" she screams.
