Meine got a job as a medic and slayer. She will help the others heal when injured from battles. Meine notices changes in Fene. He let his hair grow and had darker eyes. He was also colder. Meine didn't want to make Fene uncomfortable so she never talked to him about it. She decided to ask him one night. She saw him on the grass and staring at the sky with blank eyes. "He reminds me of Fainz when I first adopted them.. She was so attached to the stars. I don't know why would she betray us just for more strength.. I fear that there may be a day where I'll have to fight her.. I don't want to hurt her." She thought to herself. Before turning her attention back at Fene. "He looks so peaceful."
She thought to herself before getting the courage to walk to him. Fene sensed her presence & looked at her. " Fene, are you okay?" She asked. A hint of hope in her eyes. " Yeah, why..?" He asked. Meine knew he was lying. "Oh.. Okay. You can always talk to me." She said, before leaving.

Fainz was a shadow. Her hair got longer and she decorated it with flowers. She left a note on a table in Meine's estate before leaving. She knows that Fene will see it. That note was meant for Fene anyway.

She knew that he can't be that stupid to not know she wrote it when literally the word "Younger Brother" was written. So it's obvious. After she killed for the first time, she couldn't help but feel a little guilt. She thought to herself, "Was it really a good choice to become a shadow..?
