October 19th the next day 📍: the shop | 12:40 pm —————————————
Today I had all the girls come in to decorate their booths and suites and get to know one another just so we could all get a feel for it.
I've been decorating my suite since I first started renovating this place so I was pretty much done. I was going around helping out others since I didn't have too much to do.
"Knock Knock." I said before entering Paris' suite taking a look around. "Hey hey hey." she turned to look at me before continuing to put her polishes on the rack.
"It's looking real cute and cozy in here. You need any help with anything?" I asked her and she thought about it. "Actually, yes." she said then picked up some wrapping paper with a smile.
"Can you please help me with this wall?" she asked and I nodded then fixed my hat on my head before walking in further and taking a look at the wallpaper.
"It just sticks on?" I asked her and she nodded. "I think so, lemme go find a stool." she said putting her lash polish on the rack.
"It's one in my room." I told her and she nodded before walking out and I started measuring where it should start.
Seconds later she came back with my stool and we got to work. "I hope this look right because i'm really just winging it right now." she laughed and I chuckled.
"That's how it be. But I can honestly tell you it looks great in here." I said starting to apply the wallpaper getting all the air bubbles out.
"Thank you so much. But I gotta give all the credit to you. I'm so blessed to have my very own suite i've been working so hard to get to this point." she said and I smiled.
"Give all the credit to yourself boo. You do amazing work and you got yourself to this point. Be proud of all the accomplishments you've made and learn to appreciate the little things." I said and she nodded her head.
"Thank you..What made you open up a shop?" she said making small talk as we worked together on her wall.
"Umm I actually didn't plan for it to happen so soon, but my man invested in my business and wala there came LoLuxe." I said and she awwed me.
"I love thattt! I know that's right girl. I need to get me a man that loves me like that because what?! Do you see how big this space is? You got yourself a keeper miss ma'am." she said making me laugh.
"Im already knowing, he not going nowhere chile." I said then stepped down from the stool getting lower with the wallpaper.
"Period. You grew up in Atlanta your whole life?" she asked me and I nodded my head. "Pretty much, just jumped around in different parts of it." I said.
