“Papa, marrying seems too sudden for me. Especially with my hectic schedule for the dior fashion walk. ”
My grandpapa hummed and nodded in response, somewhat disappointed, making me just sigh.
“Well, hija, it can't hurt to find candidates for your one true love?. ” he gently sat down besides me.
“Well, she's the daughter of your problematic daughter, of course she wouldn't do that. ” My Aunt butted in, just like she always did.
Aunt Yen-yen was always somewhat annoyed at me and mom, being overly jealous whenever we come here to Grandpapa's house. She was married to Tito Loid, who was an upcoming rising star, or so he says with his low budget movie.

My phone's ringtone was heard, it was an embarrassing one that was chosen by Stupid Marianna. I looked at the contact and saw the name,
“Marianna STUPID!”
I eventually answered the call after I excused myself from the room, hearing snickers from grandpapa about who my secret lover was, making me just chuckle.
“Mari, ano na naman? ”
“NEED HELP, MIKS, ASAP!!! REALLY STUCK AKO HERE SA FAMILY EVENT! ”
“Na naman? Mamaya, sa tingin nila girlfriend mo na ko nan. ”
“That's the thing, miks... So err... Sabi ko.. Girlfriend ka, tas ano... May plano ka na mag-propose.. AND— Uh, naniwala sila kasi syempre, kilala ka na nila. ” I could already imagine her worried and also dumb expression through her whispered calls of help.
“MARIANNA!— Fine. You owe me, Yves. Magpasalamat kang kaibigan kita. ”
“Baka naman, ka-ibigan.. Hehe! Charot~! ” She jokingly said before hanging up, unabling me to scold her.
With a sigh, I told my grandpapa that I was leaving to go to Marianna, making him say,
“Love na love mo talaga?. ”
“Pa, naman.. ”
Making him chuckle as I grabbed my keys.
