Chapter 8

Matt's POV

-last night-

I made my way into the the alley. I had to flee from Drew's house fast or I was going to be late and I didn't want to end up getting beat again.

I jumped out my car and grabbed the bag full of money. I ran into the alley that was way to familiar to me.

"Well you showed up 3 minutes early" he smirked at me.

"Yeah whatever. Here" I said throwing the bag of money on the ground in front of him.

He checked the bag.

"Very good Espinosa" he spoke like vein.

"Okay bye I gotta go" I said and turned around.

"So you can go see your little girlfriend" he said and I stopped and turned around.

"She isn't my girlfriend. I don't even like her" I scoffed at him.

"Oh really because the pictures my buddies got of y'all looked pretty cozy" he said smirking and throwing me a envelope.

I caught it and opened it up. It was pictures of us at our date and on the beach and us kissing on the couch.

"You spied on us?! And was outside of her house?" I said pissed.

"Yeah my guys did is that a problem?" He said.

"No it's not. I'm just trying to get into her pants. I'm a player anyway" I laughed. Lies. It was a totally lie.

"Smart move Espinosa" he chuckled.

"Yeah" I said fake laughing.

-still Matt's POV-

-next day-

I drove as fast as I could to Jack's house. The boys invited me over but I told them I was busy. But they're probably all still there and I needed to talk.

I stopped in his drive way and saw all the boys cars, thank God.

I opened the door without even knocking and shut it after me. All the guys looked at me.

"Glad you could make it!" Gilinsky said taking a drink if his beer I guess.

"Are you guys drunk?" I chuckled.

"Nah we just started drinking" Nate said.

"Okay well I need to talk like now" I said sitting on the couch.

They all sat down and listened to my story.

"Well if this guy seems like he is going to hurt Drew you need to do something about it. We all do. We can't let her get hurt" Jack said.

"I tried to tell him that we weren't dating or talking that I just wanted to get into her pants but I don't think that worked" I said still pissed.

"Well the way I see it you have two choices" Nate said.

"Well what do you have?" Sammy asked.

"Choice 1 you can date Drew and risk her getting hurt and you will have to try everything to keep her safe" Nate said.

"I see where you're going with this" Jack said.

"Somebody fill me in please" I groaned.

"Then you have choice 2 drop her quit being around her don't talk to her. Hurt her to keep her safe as crazy as it seems" Nate said.

"But guys this may be the hardest decision I have ever made" I said.

Drew's POV

I parked my car and went to open Jack's door.

"Her safe as crazy as it seems" I heard Nate's voice.

What are they talking about?

"But guys this may be the hardest decision I have ever made" I heard Matt say.

Matt. He just stormed off last night without an warning.

I opened the dork and all their heads snapped my way.

"Hay guys!" I smiled at them walking to get something to drink. I grabbed the bottle of vodka then plopped down on the couch.

"Ayy sup lil' mama" Nate spoke.

"Nothing really. Matt can I talk to you out back?" I asked.

"Sure" he said and got up with me and walked outside.

We made it out and I sat on one of Jack's pool chairs and he sat by me.

"Did I do something?" I spoke quickly.

"What?" He asked.

"You left so fast last night. Did I do something wrong" I asked taking a drink.

He lifted up my chin.

"Of course not." He said kissing the corner of my month.

"Then why did you leave so early" I questioned looking into his eyes.

"I had some stuff to do nothing important" he answered grabbing me and pulling me into a hug.

"Okay. I was just wondering. I've already lost you once. I didn't want to again." I mumbled into his chest.

"I'm not going anywhere. I promise." He said kissing my head.

"LOOK AT THE LOVE BIRDS!" Sammy's voice echoed.

I snapped my head up and saw all the boys standing there.

"Guys fuck off" I chuckled still in Matt's arms.

"Sorry! Y'all are just too cute!" Johnson said.

We all decided to go inside and watch a movie. I cuddled up against Matt as he covered us with a blanket Jack threw at us.

Sammy got up and started the movie with I was informed that we are watching Fantastic 4. I've never seen it and I'm really excited.

About half way throughout the movie my eyes were getting heaving and I was struggling to stay open.

"Babygirl just go to sleep" Matt whispered to me.

"I don't want to I want to watch the movie. But then I want to sleep because I'm very sleepy" I said nussling my head into his chest.

"Babygirl you're tired I can see it in your eyes." He said playing with my hair. It soothed me and made me more tired.

"Matt stop!" I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"You're making me sleepy" I laughed.

"Go to sleep" he sang.

I laughed and gave up and decided to sleep. Matt is honestly so sweet. But he has hurt me once and he could do it again. And I don't what that. He could be just what he said. Bad intentions.
