Epilogue: "Rainfall Confessions"
A heavy downpour starts just as Ju Ha and Do Yoon finish their club activities for the day. With no umbrella between them, they have no choice but to run through the rain toward the covered bus stop nearby. By the time they arrive, they're both soaked, water dripping from their hair and clothes. They can't help but laugh at the sight of each other, drenched and shivering.
As they wait for the rain to ease up, Ju Ha notices Do Yoon rubbing his hands together, his cheeks slightly flushed from the cold. He instinctively moves closer, taking Do Yoon's hands in his to warm them. There's a moment of quiet between them, filled only by the sound of raindrops pattering on the roof.
Feeling a wave of vulnerability, Do Yoon decides to bring up something he's been carrying around but hasn't had the courage to say. He quietly admits, "Hyung... sometimes I feel like I'm just tagging along beside you, like... you'd be fine without me."
Ju Ha's eyebrows knit together, surprised by the confession. He pulls Do Yoon closer, looking him in the eyes. "Why would you think that? Do Yoon, you're... you're more important to me than I ever knew someone could be."
Caught off-guard by Ju Ha's serious tone, Do Yoon feels his heart race. "But you're always busy with everyone else, leading, doing things I don't always understand. Sometimes, I feel like I can't keep up."
Ju Ha takes a deep breath, then smiles softly. "You don't have to keep up, Do Yoon. I... I want you by my side because of who you are, not because you're like me or anyone else. It's always been you."
For a few seconds, they stand there in silence, the weight of the confession settling in. Finally, with a grin breaking through his serious expression, Ju Ha adds, "Besides, you're the one who makes me feel alive, Do Yoon. Without you, all this other stuff would mean nothing."
With that, Do Yoon's doubts begin to fade, replaced by warmth. Under the rain-soaked shelter, he realizes just how much he means to Ju Ha—and that maybe, just maybe, they truly are perfect together.
