6:00AM. While I was sitting on my hospital bed, I looked at the wall clock in front of my bed. My eyes fell on the luggage lying beside me. Finally, I've finished packing.
It's been so long since the day I stayed in this hospital that I can't even count how many days anymore. But after such long time I'm happy to be able to leave and see the outside world...Still, it also meant that I have to depart from Kheane.
What about him? Doesn't it hurt for him to see me go while this hospital is almost his home? Doesn't it hurt him to see me leave while he stays? Just what about him? He helped me cope with my dramas with Damien while I can do nothing to make him feel at ease.
I deeply sighed as I looked at the closed window in front of me. I slowly got up and went towards the window. I'll be really missing this place— this garden.
"Fuck—Shit!" I almost got choked by my own saliva when I felt someone flicked my ear. I turned around and saw the tall figure of a man with light yellow hair with a Camera pointed towards me as usual.
He groaned when I kicked his future. Of course he was saying something. Though I'm quite good at mouth reading because of my 17 weeks of learning, I'm a fast learner too, but I can never guess what he says, his mouth move faster that I can compare it with lightning.
He stopped groaning and leaned against the wall for a moment as a smirk slowly formed on his lips. "It's your lose then." I read his mouth which confused me.
"Huh? What are you babbling about? Make it clear."
"If I'm not able to have children it's your lose then, not mine..." His smirked grew wider. I pulled his silky hair that made him groan again.
"Let's put your brain in the laundry first, maybe there's still a chance that it'll be clean." I can almost feel my veins popping out of my head but I hid the annoyance in my voice. "You freakin damn know that I'll be discharged now, why won't you be normal for just a second?" I released his hair and crossed my arms.
I gave him an irritated face but he responded with his usual radiant smile, "If ever I became normal, then that means I'm not the Kheane you know." I read his mouth movement as he paused and made an expression like he's about to say something so legendary. "Cause I'm gonna be Enaehk!" I wore that deadpan face again. He's really the crackhead I know, laughing at his own jokes.
After a second of observing his face it made me laugh out loud, I can't with the face he's wearing. "We're just the same species after all, abnormal." That's how I read his mouth. Well, maybe I became just like one of him since he's the person I'm always with.
"You're such a bad influence, Rotten Pineapple..."
I'll surely miss this cinnamon roll.
"Excuse me, calling for Ms. Valentine. Your parents are here." We both stopped with our teasing when we saw Anni popped up on the door.
I smiled at her and pushed Kheane after giving him a intense side eye. "Wow, I can't believe you're leaving. Congrats for your recovery, you did well my angel." Anni, my nurse friend said as soon as she approached me while I was focusing on mouth reading.
